No totally not. The guy is an overpriced muppet. Amazing football skill's but sadly not so much in the way of acting, albeit he is trying very hard to improve on the latter

It’s a shame Suze as the kid is clearly a talented  player. But if he’s not careful his legacy will be one of a play actor who went over at any sign of physical contact, rather than his footballing brilliance. Hardly a role model for today’s youngsters.

Used to love Brazil at every World Cup. Now they’re more like Spain with frankly horrible cheating Fuchs like Neymar in their ranks. Rolling around like the softest babies on the planet. Drama Neymar made over that little tread you’d have thought he’d need a leg transplant.

Role model based on this tournament, in my opinion would be Mbappe.

Brazil have one or two special players but they haven’t been a fluid, exciting football team for many, many years. The ‘samba’ style really is dead.

 

There are occasional moments of brilliance but they are generally down to individual skill.

In the last 25 years Brazil have gone from everyone’s second team to a lot of people’s most hated.

 

They are more characterised by diving and play acting than anything else. They’ve been getting worse and worse, and it’s more annoying because it works for them more than other teams.

Brazilian flair died in 1982 at the hands of Paolo Rossi. That one really hurt them. It's been nothing but pragmatism ever since.

Mexico were brilliant in the first 20 minutes but the better team won. Belgium will be the biggest test that this Brazil team has faced since Tite took over but they are slowly starting to show why they were the pre-tournament favourites. Could really do without the Neymar histrionics though, even if Layun should have been booked.
