sylofox Posted 20 July 2018 Posted 20 July 2018 It's got to be bollox. No mention in that article that Everton are interested.

May have had a terrible injury, but if he has nor problems with it then he can be a devastating player that will continuously get us out of our seats. Watching players like him is what made Mahrez so special for me. Please never compare our Riyad to this chump again

StanSP Posted 21 July 2018 Posted 21 July 2018 Ew no thanks. Even Everton fans aren't too happy with him. The injury has played a massive part in his form though but why would we take that risk as well? Knowing them they'll want to fund the Richarlison deal to sell him and I'd rather we not get mugged off.
Bergen fox Posted 21 July 2018 Posted 21 July 2018 He was great for palace many years ago even had a palace friend who named his dog bolasie. Sure he regrets that now.

His supposed greatness at both Championship and PL level never resulted in more than about 5 goals a season. It's heinous for a player expected to be our main source of goals from midfield. He's even worse now he's been out for 2 years.
breadandcheese Posted 21 July 2018 Posted 21 July 2018 He's not good enough. To spend the Mahrez money on Ward and Bolasie would be horrendous.
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 21 July 2018 Posted 21 July 2018 Given their outlay on the Brazilian, they will want silly money. Not worth getting involved.

Gerard Posted 21 July 2018 Posted 21 July 2018 This is a great example of why PL clubs need to be more frugal and thoughtful when signing players, the chickens are coming home to roost for a lot of PL clubs as they can't move on their bad buys. There are loads of examples when cash rich clubs have thrown money about like it's confetti and now they have the problem that they've got a player on high wages who they can't get rid of. I suspect we knowingly overspent on Slimani and Benalouane and we're struggling to move on. Mendy and Musa probably weren't thoroughly scouted enough and now we've acted in haste and repenting at leisure. Bolassie fits the profile of one of the above. Even before the injury Palace fans were saying that Everton picked up the wrong winger. Lets not give Everton an out and take on their problem for what is a reputation buy. 1
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 21 July 2018 Posted 21 July 2018 I just don't understand how we could be showing interest in such a bloody awful piece of deadwood. Surely this is a wind up?
