He did have a good 30 mins. Unfortunately he didn't look anywhere as good all last year with the U23s. Good luck to the lad.

Wish him the best of luck. Wasn’t he a non-league signing when he arrived? Good for him to have essentially made a professional career via climbing the ranks, ala Vardy.

He captained the U23's yesterday in their 4-0 win at his old club Stafford Rangers. So Gordon got a testimonial, and Kingy didn't?

Probably for the best. I always thought he should be way better than he was with the u23s. 

 

Can imagine him working his way up to the championship or something.

Wouldn't be surprised if he got told he would be mainly playing for the u23s this season and decided it would be best for both if he went somewhere for first team football, wish it was a loan though

He did have a good half an hour but having watched him throughout last season he didn't rate a place in the U23s. Well down the pecking order for me.

Yeah I thought he was like 18, had no idea he was 23. Good move all round.
