lcfcsnow Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 We've spent £53 million on defenders over the summer and look at that tonight.
Max Power Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 Would prefer Evans over Morgan but don’t hate that team and Vardy off the bench is excitingÂ

And Pereira can cross, so no loss there.  Ghezzal for all we know isn't fully up to speed yet.

Can see why Morgan is playing today, when he continues to start weekly I’ll start asking questions but right now I can see why his hands may have been forced. 5
Deebhoy Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 Was feeling quite confident. But then I seen the team selection. Seriously WTF is that about. 2-0 United.

oxtonfox Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 we will get skewered. we are weak down the flanks defensively and we’ll get overrun in midfield. The back 3 if that’s what it is have not played together pre season. Ihenacho will be a lone starving wolf.Â
weller54 Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 Silva worries me in central midfield.. He's going to be out muscled.. Ndidi better be 'at it ' tonight!Â
TheUltimateWinner Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 Come on lads let’s have some optimism  2 1

Popular Post StriderHiryu Posted 10 August 2018 Popular Post Posted 10 August 2018 (edited) The lineup is similar to the last friendly only with Gray (who was injured) and Maguire (not available) coming in. The manager has gone for a team who have played with one another rather than risking untried partnerships away at one of the toughest places to visit. I don’t think we’ll see this starting lineup again but it does make sense given how injuries and our preseason have dictated.  It’s a pretty sensible lineup all things considered. We'll see, and I hope you're right but we've also got our new right back that Puel strangely always played left back at Nice is at right wing replacing our best player.

KingKoala Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 Good to have nacho as genuine No.9 along with Vardy. I think that is enough for the position

cropstonfox Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 Gray and Chillwell there to be targeted.Puel got 6 games.

rachhere Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 (edited) No great surprised with the line up. It was never going to be the eventual starting XI with the World Cup and the transfer window closing the day before. Having watched all the pre-season matches, this set up was working well at the end.  Just hope Vardy gets on later so we can finally see that link up with Maddison!
