Shane Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 We haven’t seen anything to suggest in pre-season we will be trying 3 at the back so I’m guessing it will be Puel’s usual 4-2-3-1: Schmeichel Amartey, Maguire, Morgan, Chilwell Silva, Ndidi Pereira, Maddison, Gray Iheanacho Pereira at RW is disappointing.

dynamark Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 Very ggod Tuna but sadly the lads on the bench do not actually get to play

RowlattsFox Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 Expected the Amartey/Ricardo combo but glad he’s gone with more attacking Silva and Gray when he could have picked Albrighton and Iborra. Evans injury in pre season means we’ll never know if Morgan was going to start of the season. Amartey might offer more natural protection to Morgan. 3
ronnup Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 I worry about getting over run in midfield here. My guess is he wants an open game. Which is good.
Nick Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 Bloody knew it. Amartey ? And our new attacking right back played as a winger. ?
MC Prussian Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 Can't decide whether this match comes one week too early for Maguire or not. Unless he scores a late, late equalizer...

Benkovic is brand new and probably not ready to be thrown in at old Trafford and the Turkish lad isn’t permitted?

Kitchandro Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 If somebody could snap Pogba’s legs I think i’d take a defeat fairly well. 1
MC Prussian Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 (edited) Surely means Diabaté, King, Okazaki, Jakupovic, Benalouane and Slimani off for good or out on loan soon? Edited 10 August 2018 by MC Prussian
tross12084 Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 Chilwell was on nbc sports and said ricardo is playing on the right wing
Popular Post les-tah Posted 10 August 2018 Popular Post Posted 10 August 2018 Is anyone else absolutely buzzing to see Maddison though in a real game 6
Jobyfox Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 The highs of finally signing an attacking right back after wanting one for so long. To the lows of Amartey starting the season instead. 2
Fox 4 Life Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 United's team looks pretty damn good. Alot of speed and skill in there, fear the worst here 1
UPinCarolina Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 See the negativity has already made an appearance. 4
MC Prussian Posted 10 August 2018 Posted 10 August 2018 Starting XI looks good enough to me, apart from Morgan - but that was inevitable. Rather well-balanced on the whole, now I'd like to expect a bit more creative and attacking input from several different areas. Iheanacho to score first on a Maddison assist? 3
