We could actually have one point given the way matches have gone. Worried.

To early to say, but seems it’s going to be a frustrating, inconsistent season.

As long as it’s not like the bad run last season, I’d stick with puel, a lot of new faces bedding in.

All this said, puel needs to find his best 11 and system, as his tactics and decisions are a bit baffling at times.

Hate to say it, as vardy has been great for us, but I don’t think he suits puel’s style, where nacho probably does more, or he needs to play them both.

Going to be a long season, as long as we seem to improve as the season goes on, I’m not feeling the manager change, and starting over yet again at present, but puel and his players have a lot to prove still

Another fair thread..

Really? You expected us to be thrashed by Bournemouth? That’s silly.

I expected zero points yes.

Like or not Bournemouth are a decent team at home where history says we always struggle

Our defence is still a major issue even with a good keeper.

Only West Ham conceded more goals in the League away from home than us last season  … in fact we

averaged leaking two goals a game.

Does not seem that Puel has rectified this … although its still early days.

An isolated Vardy up front is not helping matters as well.

We have some good players and a solid squad. It’s probably better than at least 10 other teams in the league.

However, that counts for nothing unless they are well coached, organised and motivated.

Puel hasnt got long in my opinion.

Couple of good oerformances, one mediocre and two utter dross.

That kind of proves the point we lost again, also if my figures are right in Puels last 26 games we have picked up 26 points

By most people’s reckoning that is relegation fodder and the owners won’t accept that for too long!

So what have we learned?

The defence is leaky.

Morgan is not up to it.

We keep starting slowly

Albrighton has an important part to play

Let’s remember that we were quite optimistic before the match and played well against a rampant Liverpool.

I do worry whether Puel is a great motivator but he seems a thinking manager, a tactician if you will. Today he got it wrong and no doubt he’ll be wondering why but he has to be careful not to blame it on bad luck or just one of those things. That won’t restore confidence either among the players or the fans.

I don’t think he will go and I don’t think that would be right but I do think he will be shocked, as will the owners, and he needs to put it behind him very quickly.

I for one learnt that last season, i'm sure many others did aswell.

As for him needing to put it behind him very quickly, he hasn't done in 40 odds games, what makes you think it's going to change anytime soon?

Yes they are but no one expected this

I've seen enough to say get rid of him.

It's not about the results, they have been fairly acceptable up until today. It extends beyond that and it's about the intent and the managerial decisions.

3-0 down at half time today you're waiting for the substitutions. The change of system to try and get back in it. Maybe a move from a back four to three at the back to get someone alongside Vardy.

But no. A back four, two defensive midfielders, three back at corners (even with 10-men) and everyone back when defending a corner even though they had a couple of men on the hallway line. Bournemouth must have been delighted to sit in and see it out.

Similar at Southampton. This time it's them down to 10 and Puel's not willing to

risk the draw to chance a win. Only Maguire taking matters into his own hands saves the day.

Against Liverpool we get them rocking for the first 10-minute spell that we really go at them. We see a glimpse of that old style that unsettled the big teams when we didn't try to take them on at their own game but it's only fleeting. In the dying stages the most adventurous he gets is Amartey on at right back and Perreira slightly further forward.

He has no personality, zero connection with the fans, he's unwilling to throw caution to the wind in search of a draw when behind or in search of a win when drawing. Everything that was so exciting about us is no more.

Next please!

It would keep you up based on the average of the past ten seasons

It was always going to happen, we’ve had a really bizarre start and have never really looked convincing. Today was going to be Moreno of a realistic test, and we’ve failed miserably. I think Puel will be out the door by the end of October if this performance is carried on. We looked clueless out there today.... the more worrying thing is we’ve signed a couple of centre backs and one looks way past it, one loaned out and one deemed ready and isn’t playing? It’s going to be a frustrating season.

I don’t know for sure but it’s early in the season, a lot of new players have come into the squad and some haven’t played yet. It’s only fair to give him time this season-and to rip up the long term plan at this stage would be a huge waste.

Agree with nearly everything, apart from results being fairly acceptable.

I really sometimes wonder if people realise we have won only 7 league games since Xmas!!

Saying he’ll be sacked soon means you’re always right, almost every manager ends in the sack. Its the same as saying ‘I predict the next prime minister to be rubbish and replaced’ it always happens lol

Okay, we get rid of him. Who do you bring in? Who is free to come to us? You've then got to find a manager who plays our style, or the last year or so has been a waste and we're then transitioning again. More damage to be done by sacking him.

By the same logic we could have 8 or 10
