Has anyone done this test online. 24 questions and you need 75% to pass (thats 18/24 if you're struggling). Lets see how many qualify and who needs to be shown the door. ONLY JOKING!

Everyone who sits this for real just buys the thin reference book, crams it in a few days, passes the exam and promptly forgets all the material. Much like any test really.

Aren't there thousands of citizens that can't speak English? How hard can the test be, really. lol

Try it and publish your score...you'll be surprised how many born n bred British fail....

22/24 as well. Slipped up on Voting age and MP age, for some reason I thought it was 21.

Squeaked through at 75%.  I'm glad this test exists, shudder to think what this country would be like if we allotted British passports to people who can't name the man credited with developing a working radar system.

I'm with you Carl...I find this citizen test very re-assuring!

Well I got 24 out of 24 but why do I need to know any of those things to be a citizen?

Never.  EVER.  have I done that well on any FT quiz.  At least I can hold my head high knowing I am knowledgeable enough to waltz into a minor deal like citizenship.  Though I would still be useless in most conversation at the local.

I must have got the wrong idea about Brexit, because this test had a friendly, open-borders feel, with silly choices to ignore to make the guessing easier.  Thank God pubs’ morning hours haven’t changed since I’ve been there, and thank God that’s the type of question they ask.
