Youtube video has been removed. Anyone rip it? or got it word for word to hand?

He said the female employee 'aka the mistress' 'haa family man haa'

Then went on to describe to female colleague which thai was 'the wife' and 'make sure you get the right wife' in reference to her looking similar to the Thai FA presidents wife.

'As opposed to the mistress who died in the crash.... otherwise known as member of staff'

Snide comments from media types with a degree or two who think they know everything. His legacy will never be in question regardless of what “professional” people say.

Questions were being asked who the woman was and then Dan Roan said “As opposed to the mistress who was in the crash, otherwise known as member of staff I.e mistress.... a family man” and that’s word for word.

I didn't see the video.

Was that broadcast live? What a ****ing bizarre thing to suggest when you're stood so close to his widowed wife.

I didn't notice that comment, so a racist trope about asians apparently all looking the same thrown in there as well. Lovely.

Guys or mods can you split this into a separate thread. Don’t want to ruin this one.

Apologies mate, thought that when I was posting. Was just so annoyed :(

Would Ofcom be able to investigate this if a complaint was made?

Yes I would have thought so

Sorry as well, like most who have commented about it found it massively disrespectful

No, it’s a very important issue to raise. I just thought it was the wrong place to put it in the Vichai thread where people are just pouring out grief.

Very unprofessional but probably best to lock it and pretend it didn't happen I'm sure no one wants the content of what he was saying to be highlighted or brought into the public domain at this time.

I agree. As frustrating as it is not to be able to hold him to account.

IF this goes the wrong way I hope we don’t act ‘shocked and surprised’

i have spent a lot of time in se Asia amongst some fairly wealthy people and things are culturally very different to the west ...

anyway, this particular ‘genie’ is out of the bottle so to speak and things will no doubt take their course .......

dan roan will no doubt apologise for things he thought were said ‘off camera and privately’ .....

How can we let someone at the club know?

Hopefully they will file a complaint against the BBC for their awful coverage.
