To describe the atmosphere, after the initial emotion of the minutes silence and the few minutes it subsided significantly. Understandable so. The goal came at the best time possible and was followed up by an incredible ‘When you’re smiling’ on six minutes. It was sang slightly slower than I’d ever heard before. 

 

As for the scenes after, well we are more than a club aren’t we ?

But if you took a moment to read my posts, and the reply, you'll notice I refer to us going around the country singing about being champions. It isn't exactly a leap to infer that I'm talking about the original chant we've been flogging for two years. I didn't actually mention Cardiff at all. 

 

If you're going to be condescending it's probably best to do so coming from the position of understanding the conversation. 

 

This thread is to celebrate the incredible respect, unity and togetherness shown by our fans yesterday who made the long trip not just to watch a football match but to honour our chairman.  I think that they were amazing, as did the players it would seem.  Why bring up an out of date chant that we used to sing just to have a go? 

 

If you've got nothing good to say or you want to have a go, take it somewhere else or better still just don't say it.

More than likely down to people not knowing how to feel, or struggling to get into things with everything that’s gone on this week. The game was just happening in the first half. I think we did the lads and ourselves proud yesterday, and they clearly appreciated it

The song sounded great because it was started slowly. The trouble is most people just shout it out and it becomes messy. I can see why some don't like it when it's sang fast. Do it like we did yesterday and it has the potential to be our true anthem and not just a chant that's sang by a few.

Somebody said there was no atmosphere until we scored. Rubbish! It quietened down at times but there was singing for most of the game, more so second half as we were as poor as them first half. 

Well done to Cardiff and their fans and stewards, very respectful. I was a very proud LCFC fan yesterday. I am now at Schiphol airport enroute to the USA and a number of people have commented on my city shirt and the tragedy that took place last week.

Completely with you there. The loudest songs sung first half were just anti-Welsh shite, I was so annoyed at half time.

 

After we scored it was incredible though. Best away end for a long time and the scenes after the final whistle were unreal.

               Good on us.  We have followed 5,000 - 1 with a 50,000 - 1.

 

               Let's see if we can keep the momentum better than the summer '16 window.
