Of course MVG and Anderson will be favourites but the likes of Gurney, Price and Wade are coming into this on the back of TV wins over the past month. Not sure what to expect from Rob Cross and Peter Wright. Mensur Suljovic has been consistent of late. In terms of darkhorse Jamie Lewis had a tremendous run last year, as for this year I'll go with Joe Cullen or Dimitri Van Den Bergh.
Ian W LCFC Posted 27 November 2018 Posted 27 November 2018 Yeah I really like Van Den Bergh too. Think MVG will win this one (bold prediction I know ) I love watching the World Champs though, last years was great
HowardsBulletHeader Posted 27 November 2018 Posted 27 November 2018 Love the Worlds at Ally Pally it's fantastic to watch, I think the new format seems a good idea too. Just seen that Rob Cross potentially has Jeffrey de Zwaan who I'm a big fan of think he's got a great game and I wouldn't be surprised to see Rob beaten there. Always been a big fan of Gary Anderson as well, feel he ups his game for the world's too. Bring it on. Love all the walk ons too, think it was James Richardson who had Vindaloo as his walk on song and it was superb. Like Van Der Voort, Barney as well and a few of the others, brilliant stuff.
EastAnglianFox Posted 12 December 2018 Posted 12 December 2018 Ohhhh Gary Gary....playing absolutely stress free since having kids (apart from when he plays his best mate Gerwyn) Michael Smith as an outsider.
PAULCFC Posted 12 December 2018 Posted 12 December 2018 Got to be the best WC ever MVG and anderson can only meet in the semi,so a few players in the other half have to fancy their luck!
everton carr Posted 13 December 2018 Posted 13 December 2018 Think Lisa Ashton will beat Jan Dekker tonight

kingfox Posted 13 December 2018 Author Posted 13 December 2018 Will bang this in here in case myself or anybody forgets. Will be nice to watch a World Championship without Phil Taylor.
PAULCFC Posted 16 December 2018 Posted 16 December 2018 Just got back,Great day.... Chizzy!kids got pictures with russ bray and John Part. But it's a long day!The Trophy is very heavy!
The Bear Posted 17 December 2018 Posted 17 December 2018 It should be like the Champions/Europa League. If you get knocked out in the first two rounds you have to go and play in the BDO one as punishment.
PAULCFC Posted 19 December 2018 Posted 19 December 2018 Sound's pissed! No excuse to do what he did tonight when he has the game to beat Osada.I'm going William o' connor to get a bit further.
EnderbyFox Posted 19 December 2018 Posted 19 December 2018 What an utter bellend James Wade is. Asada bows to him at the beginning and does absolutely nothing to warrant Wade shouting/celebrating in his face. Post match interview "I did it for my country" absolute helmet.

To be honest i really have liked Wadey for years, even play with his darts(badly!)......But that tonight was just wrong......Sure he was either pissed or overdoing the happy pills.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 20 December 2018 Posted 20 December 2018 Now that I think about it, if I had to listen to Chelsea Dagger on a loop I'd probably lose it as well.
Blue ROI Posted 20 December 2018 Posted 20 December 2018 Disgusting behavior from the English man towards the Japanese. Thankfully we wouldn't have that problem at Leicester!
kingfox Posted 20 December 2018 Author Posted 20 December 2018 Good win for Luke Humphries over Stephen Bunting, this lad will be a one to watch soon, him and Van Den Bergh have been carving it up on the Development and Challenge tours over the past two years.
