Kasey Keller Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 I’d say Mahrez, Flowers, Izzett, Cottee, Dickov
StanSP Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Kante. Vardy. Mahrez. Albrighton Schmeichel Morgan Doesn't even eclipse £10m and there's SIX Premier League winners there.
rn9013 Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Purely financial you’d have to say Mahrez. £400k into £60m. But taking into account the kudos and status brought to the club, Vardy.
Tielemans63 Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Steve Walsh deserves a shout. 100k from Wigan and obviously an absolute club legend.
49er Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Kevin McDonald and Ian Wilson. Think the transfer fees were £10k each or thereabouts
ThingsCouldGetMessi Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Every regular starter in the title winning season plus Steve Walsh and Muzzy Izzet.
BenTheFox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Seriously if you have to pick one it can't be anyone other than Mahrez. Signed for £400k, PFA player of the year, instrumental in us winning the league and sold for over £60 million. Don't even think it's up for debate.
The Doctor Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 You can't really argue anyone but Mahrez. Cost not that much more than Paddy McCarthy and is probably the best player we've ever had
Nicolo Barella Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Mathematically, it's Mahrez - if we can consider value for move return on investment.
LCFC FOX Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Mahrez there’s not really any argument to it.. 400k is unbelievable

I'm willing to bet that there's a direct correlation between fans that have seen the likes of Paddy McCarthy play for us and fans who don't lose their shit when we're not in the top 7.

sylofox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Heskey has to be high on the list. Chilly and Barnes will be on it.

FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Huth, cheap as chips, and pretty much kept us in the premier league. Financially so much more beneficial than any other signing we have ever had Vardy second because he's a hero
