Dan Posted 5 February 2019 Posted 5 February 2019 Yeah I had to include Ake. He's won their player of the season something like 3 years on the spin.
KrefelderFox666 Posted 5 February 2019 Posted 5 February 2019 No one has mentioned Ben Foster in goal yet. He's had an impressive season so late in his career.

Nalis Posted 5 February 2019 Posted 5 February 2019 Great efforts ladies and gents but the sad thing is that a lot of these XIs wouldnt even make top 4 if they were an actual team.
Xen Posted 5 February 2019 Posted 5 February 2019 Fabianski Ricardo, Coady, Boly, Digne Rice, Neves, Doucouré Brooks, Jiminez, Anderson Bench: Schmeichel, Doherty, Chilwell, Fraser, Gueye, Pereyra, Wilson Hard to look past Wolves for most positions, really. They've put in some great performances this season. We've had a few players stand out, but imo only Ricardo is a definite for the first XI. Chilwell/Digne is close though. Basically a mid-table XI.
peach0000 Posted 5 February 2019 Posted 5 February 2019 Purely based on statistics this season apparently it would be this apparently (10 apps minimum), some strange choices I know. Fabianski Ricardo Schär Bamba Digne Billing Capoue Snodgrass Sigurdsson Andersen Jimenez Subs: Foster, Doherty, Bednarek, Ndidi, Maddison, Fraser, Knockhaert, King, Mounie (7 from the 9 depending which positions you like)
StanSP Posted 5 February 2019 Posted 5 February 2019 Schmeichel Doherty - Ake - Maguire - Chilwell Neves - Moutinho Fraser - Brooks - Anderson Jimenez Subs: Pereira Fabianski Wilson Sigurdsson Digne Vardy Pereyra Notable mentions - Holebas, Van Aanholt, Wan Bissaka, Mitrovic, Arnautovic, Jota, Milivojevic, Rondon, Duffy, Dunk, Redmond (only recently though).
SheppyFox Posted 5 February 2019 Posted 5 February 2019 Could the best of the rest put a team together that could consistently achieve top 4 compete in the champions league?
420Hashish Posted 5 February 2019 Posted 5 February 2019 If this thread was made a few years ago, you could've put Kante in every position.
Harry - LCFC Posted 6 February 2019 Posted 6 February 2019 Foster Doherty Coady Maguire Chillwell Zaha Neves Doucore Anderson Wilson Jimenez

The depressing this is it does illustrate the gap between the big 6 and the rest of us. As good as that team is it probably would still only finish 7th. X

Still think that team is a pretty good one. X
Fox92 Posted 7 February 2019 Posted 7 February 2019 Foster Doherty -- Duffy -- Ake -- Chilwell Moutinho -- Milivojevic Fraser -- Brookes -- Anderson Wilson

Fraser, Wilson and Ake all worth a shout from Bournemouth too. As well as Brookes obviously. They have a decent squad actually, that's why I'm so surprised when people say "we have a better team than them". Wouldn't say Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are the 'rest'
