I think it was Brendan that stole their teeth though which made Top angry and Rudkin got the blame. Every time Brendan smiles at Top he's essentially taking the piss and Top doesn't even see it!

:crylaugh::crylaugh:Post of the day for me Sir...made me laugh out loud :appl:

Rudkin is a master manipulator who was always quick to recognise advancement opportunities for himself (especially in the early days with the new owners when he became their self-appointed personal butler...!) and whose primary concern has always been his own personal empire building ambitions.

For years he has surrounded himself with his "yes men" as a form of self-preservation as he knows they will always have his back as a result of his misplaced loyalty to them.

It is one of the reasons why he never wanted to relinquish responsibility for the Academy.....and why inadequate coaches like Beaglehole and Peake remained in strategically key development positions (U23/U18) for way too long at the expense of top quality coaches like Idiakez who was always prepared to challenge the comfy status-quo...!

Rudkin has become "The Teflon Don" at LCFC and it is difficult to see how any business/team can grow to become world class without world class leadership.....and anyone with the ego and self-importance of Jon Rudkin will never be a world class leader!

I was impressed that he sat through the whole game in his suit on saturday - no sign of a coat or heavy jacket over the top.  perhaps you shouldn't trust a man who wont wear an overcoat ??????

What you didn’t see was all of the “yes” men he has appointed over the years on their knees in the directors box blowing hot air up towards his backside which acts pretty much like underfloor heating.

The lack of any overcoat was noticed months ago when Bodgers mentioned how our players were unable to cope with the unseasonable warm weather !

A lot of people benefitted massively from the title win.

In any job when there's some kind of achievement, you get anyone clinging on to it and plonking it on their CV. He's seen over far more bad signings than he has good, and i've seen nothing to suggest since Walsh left that anyone on board level has done an amazing job.

I have this theory that he was the one that pushed for Ranieri and the owners basically see him as the architect behind our title win .😳

You might be right. They clearly rate him for something.

I remember he was getting a hell of a lot of stick on here for years. It's easy to forget now, but when we went up we only signed Ulloa for a decent amount until Kramaric come in. We looked destined to finish bottom, and it looked like we'd not even given it a go.

I'm not saying Forest have got their policy right by any means, far from it. But you look at the amounts you can spend when you go up compared to what we did.

Can't see him ever getting the boot whilst the KP are about. Especially if it is true he looks after all their horses etc here.

and polishes their sticks and balls (polo)

Why is he in the coaches gear in that birthday photo

Probably borrowed it from his son who i now believe is one of the academy coaches.......alongside Beagleholes son!

All bodes well for our Youth Development that we now have a 2nd generation of Rudkins and Beagleholes to develope our young talent.......and Im sure the interview process for both was all above board and transparent.  :o
