LCFC is in the market for a new shirt sponsor from the 20/21 season. Smart move by the owners. They’ve created a valuable property over recent years, and raised the profile of their own operations immensely, culminating in the award of a long term extension to their domestic duty-free franchise. Good time to realise this value for the benefit of the club. Wouldn’t be concerned about long-term commitment of the owners, as that’s part of the ‘sell’ to prospective new sponsors.

do you remember the 1000000 pixel web site - I bought a block of 400 pixels and then when all the others  where sold I flogged it on ebay (to a gambling company) for 10k

 

maybe we could divide a logo space into  200 (20 x 10) squares and sell each one for  50k per year?

Surprised at this, I also hope we get a decent sponsor because our current one is relatively aesthetically pleasing.

Shame, as I love the way King Power looks on the shirts now - no grotesque logo, just plain English in white with a crown over the I. So much better than the old one aesthetically. 

 

Would prefer to stay local and have Walkers again but if we can get a lucrative deal that could be brilliant for us and give us a huge leg up, especially if we qualify for Europe next season. 

 

Just as long as the logo isn’t shit and it’s not a ****ing betting company :fc:.

Dont the owners have quite good links to Air Asia? I’d bank on it being that.

As long as it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Like the Chevrolet logo on United tops...horrendous!

 

I could see it being someone like Singha but let's see.

Wont be Singha....Alcohol adverts are banned(but betting is fine:huh:)My guess if it's true would be Air Asia,Allways makes me smile that our shirt sponsors are a company that nobody in the uk can use.Unless you get on a plane,boat and generally get to Thailand.King Power hold all the card's in this(if true)Would they let a way to get more money into LCFC go?I suppose FFP will have a say,but if you can get another company to sponsor you for more than your paying and are friendly with them then it makes sense.But Air Asia would just remind me of QPR:blink:
