£10 says it will be Carabao Energy Drink.

Or one of the Asian airlines.

We only get £4m a season from King Power so a new sponsor should bring in about £10m a season if we're lucky.

Curious list. Everyone above us apart from the top 6 and Southampton are betting companies. In fact 4 out of the 6 below us are betting companies too. As are Villa and Norwich while Sheffield United are sponsored by a bank.

I hope we don’t become part of the new tradition and go for decent sponsors. If we qualify for the Europa/Champions League next season we could get a deal £10m+ a season with a proper brand. Fingers crossed.

It agree with several, it will highly likely be a Chinese Betting Site.  If not, may be Ali-Pay or Hisense, this as they are both throwing around sponsorship money at the moment and the EPL's huge popularity in Asia will hit their target markets as they look to expand outside of China.

I find this hard to believe. King powers main focus is duty free and they’ve just won the concession for another ten years. Surely the profile they get from our shirt sponsorship is far more valuable.

King power feels so unique to us in this country, I would be gutted if they sold out to a betting company. Not just for the looks of the sponsor logo but the ethics too, surely Top wouldn't allow it.

Hopefully something like hisense wouldn't be too bad, similar to us at the moment with just plain white writing

What’s the source for this? I find it hard to believe personally. Particularly with FFP I would imagine the owners would rather keep the shirt sponsorship in house so that the ‘price paid’ can be manipulated to suit the clubs needs within reason.

The owners have also spent a long time associating King Power with LCFC, I’m not convinced they’d allow another brand to take over the main sponsorship now.

An anonymous user who set up an account 16 hours ago, started this thread and hasn’t been back online since. And everyone’s found it instantly more believable than most of our ITKs.

KP haven’t paid  nearly enough on this over the years .....almost as if the club were deliberately making sure that ‘overcharging’ could never be levelled at us .....

Didn't the owners opt for less money with Adidas for the prestige of the brand? Can't see them plastering some dodgy betting company nobody has heard of all over our shirt.

Probably Air Asia.

Actually good call out on the bad sourcing. But if it were true, I could see King Power being satisfied with the stadium name rights, especially if the expansion happens. I couldn't see the shirt naming rights going to a non-Thai company, given the general tone of sponsorship deals being done with the club, and the political ties of the owners.

Can't see it, it's only going to be a extra 4-6 million a year, why would the owners give up a massive advertising prop for KP for that amount. £4-6 million is peanut to them.

If it's to do with FFP they could just pay more themselves as long a they can prove its the going rate.
