fazzyfox Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 Wouldn't be surprised if the home fans leave early, after all they've got the longer journey home. RE a final v Man City, we don't have to beat them as such, a draw and then penalties would do it (says Mr straw clutcher here). I can see it though, 1-0 down, late Vardy equaliser, is there extra time....who cares, then penalties, happy days, carabao and champagne all round!

fazzyfox Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 I'm sorry, I'm not having it, it's unfair and unrealistic to call Phil Jones a pub player. Some pub players have a degree of mobility and co-ordination.
StanSP Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 Always makes me laugh when a player gets knocked down potential head injury then a teammate comes and gives them a pat on the head

Vacamion Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 Can only assume that Pep told them to lay off 2nd half to help them flog more tickets for the second leg.
steveherbe Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 Any idea why Maguire isn't playing, are they saving him for the relegation battle? Injured against Wolves apparently, bruised ego.
fazzyfox Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 This young Utd side holding Man City out in the second half givess us hope, a bit of bravery and fearlessness required.

This may well be true. But did you see the stats for Leeds v Arsenal yesterday? Totally different halves. Momentum can make a difference.

Dan Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 It really is quite alarming how much Solskjaer gets away with it from the pundits. They keep going on about him getting it right 2nd half **** me they were 3 down, Man City obviously took their foot off, the game was won. It's unbelievable. I'd be gutted hearing ex players defending us operating like this.
Tuna Posted 8 January 2020 Posted 8 January 2020 Man United still have a slim chance with that goal back. 0-3 and it's game over.

Contrast Solksjaer to van Gaal who they attacked mercilessly.
StanSP Posted 29 January 2020 Posted 29 January 2020 Man City battering Utd. De Gea already made 2 very good stops.
