This should be top 6 or FA Cup? 4th league cup win is not a priority.

A fourth win would take us level with Spurs and Forest in terms of the number won, and only one behind Man United, Villa and Chelsea.

Absolutely would prioritise a maiden FA Cup win over it mind.

I don't go for these wish predictions..

Prefer to sit back & see how the teams

Fortunes develope over the season!!

One can see how easy some get so easy frustrated..over expectations.

My only wish..to support a team who tries..& entertains.

Bullshit statements..like they should

Win this or that game..in league or cup,far from reality..Football creates it's own rules of the day !!

Cup win. Always.

I'm lucky to have seen two clubs I have ties to win cups (Leicester and Lincoln) and, no matter how doggo the quality of the game, you always remember it.

6th could mean away days in Azerbaijan, Norway and Israel.

So could the League Cup. Both lead to European qualification.

Which is a good thing of course.

Very true. I thought cups give you a bye straight to groups whereas 6th is qualifiers?

7th leads to qualifiers (as long as teams from the top six win both the cups).

6th puts you straight through to the group stage (as long as a team from the top six wins one of the cups).

Winning either cup also leads to automatic qualification for the group stage.

So... our young, talented squad could scrape 15th place but hey, we won the league cup so thats ok

Frankly we're very unlikely to finish 15th. Winning a cup wouldn't harm our league campaign to that extent.

But even in that contrived hypothetical I think we should still prefer silverware to none.
