One can see how easy some get so easy frustrated..over expectations. My only wish..to support a team who tries..& entertains. Bullshit statements..like they should Win this or that game..in league or cup,far from reality..Football creates it's own rules of the day !!

fox_up_north Posted 5 July 2019 Posted 5 July 2019 Cup win. Always. I'm lucky to have seen two clubs I have ties to win cups (Leicester and Lincoln) and, no matter how doggo the quality of the game, you always remember it. 6th could mean away days in Azerbaijan, Norway and Israel.

Winning either cup also leads to automatic qualification for the group stage.

Winning a cup wouldn't harm our league campaign to that extent. But even in that contrived hypothetical I think we should still prefer silverware to none.
