The standard of some of that defending isn’t even league 1 ability. 
 

For all the talk of playing in Europe, outside of the larger teams, some of the teams would struggle to Compete in league 2.

Feel like some players come here for a pay check like we're the saudi league, play like dung. Then find another club who don't get taken for a mug and theN play like world class super stars. So frustrating 😫

It's a far easier level going up against Europa League minnows than facing the Top clubs in European football in the Premier League.  You'll face stiffer competition in the FA cup than in Europes secondary competitions.

The likes of TNS, Astana and Petrocub are well below the standard of the Premier League. Probably most of the Championship as well.

Have we already forgotten that we got knocked out in the group stages and round of 32 when we were in the Europa League? Even with one of our best ever squads we weren't able to put together a decent run against the Europa League 'minnows'.

Remember that Yunus is right now playing with Osimhen, Sanchez, Icardi, Mertens so it is easier for him to score. He also has a huge support from the Galata fans as he is from the club academy.

That's one thing I wouldn't accuse Yunus of. His attitude whilst here was top drawer, just a shame he didn't show his quality more consistently. Pleased he's doing well.

Many players need a consistent run in the team to give them a chance to acclimatise, some take longer than others.  Yunus was never really given that.

Trey Nyoni done alright for Liverpool tonight. With our frankly terrible options, he'd have had a chance at being in the first team here. That said, Cooper was never likely to pick him as he's under 30.
