They have been under good contract around 4.5 million per player so there wasnt any choice for them in Europe,but Çorum even though isn't a big and properous City,the owner of the club is a big company produce modern army materials,so they have money as club.

One of the most predictable players I’ve seen in years. Love the guy but his injury and back to back relegations with us look like it’s killed his confidence. Huge gamble for Ipswich.

I think he'll have a really steady career, he's still really young in the grand scheme of things.

 

I don't think it's a coincidence that his best football came under an actual football manager in Maresca though, and not some clown masquerading as one. He must've committed sins in a past life to have wound up being coached by Cooper, Van Nistelrooy, Cifuentes, Rowett and O'Neil.

He's 22 and playing with his 6th manager in 3 years since leaving Sporting. He's going to improve, it's not a "huge gamble" at all.

 

I can't help but think this is one of many posts that follows the sale of a liked player and has a certain tone to it.

Robben was textbook predictable, yet was still one of the most efficient wingers put there.

Albrighton didn't reinvent the wheel either. 

Fatawu still provided some absolute moments of magic and even when we were terrible, he looked the only one willing or capable of coming up with anything at all, such was the dearth of creativity in our squad.

 

If Fatawu can stay injury free, he's far less of a gamble than McAteer was.

He's a £20m player that has had 1 productive season in 3, and from the buying clubs perspective, the good season was his first, then he sustained a massive potentially career hurting injury, battled back to fitness, and put in 8/10 stinkers on return. Now he has to step up to a far higher level, and he's in a team that cannot afford to carry luxury players. 

They've spent £20m and need a player that creates explosive moments, too often over the last year he's dithered on the ball and ended up killing many attacks by himself, he's done the same in the limited time i've seen so far. I guess £20m in the grand scheme of things isn't major, and he's a player they can afford to keep if they go down, Abdul wasn't one of the "bad ones" from last season, but he was the player who frustrated me the most, so many times our play went through him and he fumbled. He doesn't look anything like the player we had 23/24, maybe it's confidence, maybe it's the managers, maybe it's the system, maybe it's the injury.

I agree was talking to my friend on Friday as we watched it, Abdul does the same thing over and over again, and we spoke about Robben in that conversation, the difference was though, Robben had a magic left foot, more often than not Robben delivered an incredible cross or bent it into the corner to score himself, Abdul however is far less consistent, his decision making is often erratic, and he doesn't seem to learn. Don't get me wrong, on his day he looks like a player you'd see going for £40-50m somewhere, but far too often he makes the wrong decision.

A lot of sinners here. Since our club ended up being coached by Cooper, van Nistelrooy etc.
