Mendi Posted 8 December 2019 Posted 8 December 2019 (edited) Question guys Are Foxes much in the title race. I will say we are and what are others saying on it Edited 8 December 2019 by Mendi 1
Popular Post UniFox21 Posted 8 December 2019 Popular Post Posted 8 December 2019 No point getting caught up in the "title race" story the media spin. We're in a race against ourselves to finish as high as possible, no point focusing on other teams and how they're doing 18 1
StanSP Posted 8 December 2019 Posted 8 December 2019 We are given we're 2nd in December by a hefty margin. However, and as shit as it is to write this, Liverpool won't be dropping as many points as they need to throughout the rest of the season even taking in to account their fixture congestion this month. Klopp has them playing to a ridiculously high standard and even their rotated squads in last 2 games have bagged them maximum points. We continue winning our games and that's the most we can do! Liverpool and any other rivals losing (like Man City and Chelsea this weekend) is just a bonus. Even more of a bonus is teams just below top 4/5 taking points off each other. 4
Mendi Posted 8 December 2019 Author Posted 8 December 2019 Liverpool could flop, they have had some lucky results on their travel. You will be silly to not ask the question of the title race. The Foxes know how to win it and have experience on it 1
kyleolly Posted 8 December 2019 Posted 8 December 2019 Keep winning somehow win on Boxing Day then we are in a title race can’t see it myself as long as we get champions league football next season I will be happy but let’s make a fight of it 2 1
foxfanazer Posted 8 December 2019 Posted 8 December 2019 Don't care in all honesty. Just enjoying what how we're playing and the records we're breaking. We can do nothing about Liverpool (except beat them on boxing day) 2 1

My thoughts exactly. 3 extra wins needed over the next 22 games and that assumes we don't lose is a huge ask.
The Syrup Posted 8 December 2019 Posted 8 December 2019 Will take a huge downturn in form by the scousers, plus us to keep winning. Can't see it myself but Liverpool have been known to bottle it so who knows. 1
Mendi Posted 8 December 2019 Author Posted 8 December 2019 Love to see the gaffer popping Liverpool Title dreams
Leicesterpool Posted 8 December 2019 Posted 8 December 2019 (edited) According the press and pundits we aren't... we're just a team sitting second that's all. They just don't want anyone spoiling Liverpool's party. Edited 8 December 2019 by Leicesterpool 2
HybridFox Posted 8 December 2019 Posted 8 December 2019 We are in the title race but quite happy to go under the radar
dylanlegend Posted 8 December 2019 Posted 8 December 2019 With their fixture overload it wouldn’t surprise me if they got a few injuries, if they end up being players like Van Dijk etc. that would be a huge loss for them 1
Wolfox Posted 8 December 2019 Posted 8 December 2019 My Wednesday supporting mate has placed a fair bet on us winning…. He won in 15/16 and seems fairly convinced… I can’t be bothered to even contemplate it Given that we are second, I guess we are the closest thing to be challengers in the league (Liverpool aside of course !) 1
Leicesterpool Posted 8 December 2019 Posted 8 December 2019 If Leicester did achieve the impossible again, I don't think we will get the hype in media we got in 2016, I think more of a case of the tabloids sympthasing with Liverpool... making we stole their trophy and it was another fluke year for Leicester. 1
Popular Post The Syrup Posted 8 December 2019 Popular Post Posted 8 December 2019 In the last 11 seasons, the team top at christmas went on to win the league in 8 of those seasons. The 3 times that didn't happen Liverpool were top at christmas. 5 11

You will find the media will talk about it, and will mention the late owner who is sadly sadly is missed.
Popular Post urban.spaceman Posted 8 December 2019 Popular Post Posted 8 December 2019 I have a dream. That on the final day of the season, needing to beat Man Utd 1-0 to win the title, and Liverpool needing to win away at Newcastle 17-4 to stay in the title race, Leicester City kick off, and the United players, under instruction of new manager Duncan Ferguson, decide to sit on the ground rather than actually play. Leicester City go on to win the Premier League again, Klopp finds himself living on the streets after Brendan Rodgers evicts him, and at the end of the match there's a surprise performance by Kasabian featuring Mark Morrison and Andrea Bocelli, singing You'll Never Walk Alone. Soyuncu wins the Ballon d'Or while Mane wins the Fallon f'Loor. And there was much rejoicing. 4 8
Popular Post Fox in the North Posted 8 December 2019 Popular Post Posted 8 December 2019 I can’t let myself get hyped up on an 8 point gap when we’ve laughed at Spurs fans over 5 point gaps. If we can comfortably get Champions League football along with a couple of good cup runs, that would be a ridiculously good season. If the gap changes or if Liverpool slip, then maybe, but we also have to be perfect which I can’t see happening. 10

Guest Kopfkino Posted 8 December 2019 Posted 8 December 2019 We are in the sense there's still a long way to go so 8 points isn't insurmountable on the face of it. But we're not really, it would take a gargantuan effort to overhaul this Liverpool side, they've dropped 2 points in the last 25 games it's absolutely mental. Or to put it a different way, they've got 73 points of the last 75 available. Mental.
Tuna Posted 8 December 2019 Posted 8 December 2019 We're in the race until the table says otherwise. The pressure is all on Liverpool. Will we last the course? I don't know. I'm just enjoying how we are playing and am looking forward to every game at the moment. Personally I think Liverpool are unstoppable. But who knows. I'd be delighted with a top four finish and Champions League qualification. Oh and a cup final win or two 2
