Not only was that a truly brilliant day for all the obvious reasons, but we actually played amazingly in that game too. All the reasons we were crowned champions were on show and we could (and should) have scored a few more.

For weeks and weeks after this I was trying to explain to those around me that I couldnt express how I was feeling because it hadn't sunk in yet.

It honestly still hasn't!!

Should have been 4-0.

Vardy missed pen which would have given him a hat-trick and tied him with Kane for the golden boot and a rare defensive lapse by Kante getting wrong side of Mirallas.

For all the joy and celebration, these are the two things that I remember most.about this game and still irk me today.  Particularly Vardy's skied clearance/penalty.

If ever a post encapsulates the misery of being a fan, it is this one.

Greatest day ever, memory allowed spoilt by imperfection (and for the record, I was similarly irked!).

For anyone in any doubt, I am NOT having a go at @murphy....simply highlighting what a weird bunch we can be at times.

You're right!

I think it irks me more that those two blips still irk me (if that makes sense).  We are a strange breed, but in the grand scheme of things, mere pimples on the backside of that monumental triumph which I will continue to wallow in til my last breath.

I would have loved for Vardy to share that golden boot though!

I was in a pub in Buxton, and someone tried to tell me that Schlupp dived. I laughed and suggested he watch the replay, after which he quietly inspected his pint. Humans really aren't good at admitting they're wrong.

Now that I think about it, I think it is the fact that we were on fire that day.  The complete performance, and as you say, falling just short of perfection on the perfect day.  That is why it slightly bothers me that couldn't quite hit ten out of ten.

Such indiscretions would have been long forgotten on any other day.

Me too. Was on my way to the gents (making sure I didn’t feel the urge post match) when that penalty was given. Stood at the entrance next to a steward when he skied it. Still bugs me a little.

What made it still pleasing to see then, and still very relevant now, was Vichai being shown holding the trophy - could imagine even him didn't realise that season was going to be as great as it was.

There will never be an owner like him..He had right morals in both life and work, respecting others no matter their backgrounds or stages in life they're in and just being a true gentleman (like Ranieri was).

Get a tear when, in the video montage before home game kick-offs, moving images of him with the trophy and him appreciating the fans - his tragic death just shows that life can be very fragile at any time for anyone; so try to achieve your dreams/targets as best as you can via hard-work and be with people who want to achieve the same as you and work together towards it, but also try and greet others with dignity.

The pre-match and post-match organisation from the club on that day couldn't have been more perfect, despite the dismal weather.

Nothing is impossible to achieve.

The only goal I've ever missed through going to the toilet mid-game. I was, and still am, faintly disgusted with myself.

Watching that today was a real treat. Got me set up for next weekend.  Cheers @Shane.

Yeah but he wouldn't have shared it. He would have won it as he had far more assists than Kane. In the event of a tie, the outright winner is decided by assists. For me that was the only blemish on the season as a whole. Clear winners by ten points, PFA and writers players of the year, Ballon D'or nominations, JVs Record 11 on the bounce. Golden boot would have made a full house.

Still a minor thing in the face of everything else we achieved that year. Watching the whole thing again gave me goosebumps.

Watched a full replay of the West Ham game yesterday on demand on Sky. I'd completely forgotten how good that early save from Schmeichel was. Out of this world.
