That’s a good recovery time that isn’t it?

It is most likely he didn't damage them as badly as Ricardo and Justin did, which is why he was able to back in 4 months

Probably be partial tears/low grade tears to his ACL and PCL, and LCL apparently heals within about 2 months at the highest grade anyway

Good win.  Looking at the team, apart from two trialists, we always seem to have new names playing in the Under 18s - this time it was Jack Lewis and Henry Cartwright.    Are we promoting Under 16s more into the team then?

Would love to see Will Alves get a game and apparently Logan Briggs is highly rated too?

Few players missing from the game against Man City last week:

Stolarczyk, Yfeko, Reghba

Reckon they were some of the ones involved with the womens team?

As we have hardly any strikers for Thursday's match, it could be that Reghba is being saved for that. Not convinced about his skill levels but I don't think he will be found wanting physically

🤷‍♂️  Pennant should be starting ahead of some random 23 year old transfer listed at Port Vale.

This this and this, its pretty disgusting that our best U18 player of the last 18 months who scored a hattrick in his last game for them followed up by a good cameo in the U23's and then training with the 1st team, is on the bench for the U23's when it's as decimated as it is with trialists that have no business being here.

Unless Pennant was the U23 player training with the 1st team who went to this house party? Although I doubt he'd be playing tonight if so.

What's the deal with the older players who turned up around the time of the covid infections stuff. Are they related? Are we using older guys in an attempt to avoid relegation? What's the deal?

So this is again not live?

These two trialists seem to have come here whilst the likes of Fitzhugh, Leshabela, Tavares, Flynn etc are training with the 1st team. You're probably right on us trying to remain as competitive as possible so we don't get relegated.

Seriously - what are they playing at? It’s like deliberately trying to alienate talented players? Thomas managed to leapfrog the U23, but for a player that good to be kept out of that level (I know we had Ughdlemba/Bassey) is ridiculous.

Seems odd for it to happen around the same time as the covid stuff too. And now we can't stream the matches live. Smells like damage limitation. Very strange.

He is one of the players who wouldn't be eligible as he hasn't been with us for 3 years thankfully, as he has been pretty unimpressive for the u23s
