Thinking of getting this on Xbox had last years but didn’t really play it. want to get back into it so will hopefully get this by the new year, used to spend hours wasting my life away on previous years 😂

Little over halfway through the first season of the mandatory Leicester save. I've won 15 out of 22 games, but I'm only just clinging on to fourth! Have your games been as polarising as that? 14th place and below have <= 1 point per game and I'm 17 points ahead of Villa in 7th.

My first season with Solihull Moors was so cramped, it felt like I was playing a game every 3 days so player fitness was a struggle.

Try the Touch version, I gave up playing the full version years ago, just takes up too much time.

Promises are shit aren’t they?

 

I signed a player in the summer and just as the transfer window closed at the end of August, he’s claiming I’ve broken the promise and he wants to leave. Transfer listed himself and instantly had offers in which I don’t think I can decline without upsetting him and potentially the wider team. Had the same thing happen at the same time with my other striker, but I’ve told him he’s staying.

bring in a friend or former team mate is the worst. its not like you can browse their facebook to find out who that is

Is anyone doing a save with the level 10 database ? 
I am doing one with Coalville but can’t sign anyone on loan for some reason, even players who are listed for loan and are interested in signing. It just doesn’t give the option to make a loan offer.

Does anyone know why or come across it ?

I started a new save and it happens to me as well

 

Looked on the twitter for the Database and it appears to be a known issue, although looks like it may be a bug with the game rather than the database

probably something to do wit hthe fact most players at that level, if not all players, are non-contract.

It is strange as Coalville Town have previously had players on loan from league clubs whilst playing at the same level

 

But I imagine as they are at a level that technically isn't in the game it is probably why you they can't get loan players

you're trying to loan players from semi pro or pro clubs then with contracted players? could be an error in the editor files, creator may have left a box unticked or something

Yeah no matter the level of the players club you can't offer a loan at all

 

Gonna have a dig around in the editor file to see if I can find anything, might just be as you say a box unticked or maybe just need to add a new rule

 

I never usually loan players whatever save I play anyway so it is not an issue for me but might as well see if I can find a fix haha

Yeah I’ve been trying to loan from pro and semi pro clubs. Other clubs in the league have got players in on loan so it’s not an issue with the league rules.

 

my budget is so small, a couple of loans would be a cheap way of bolstering the squad numbers.

@Ricey what screen size is the game actually made for? 

Only ask as I have a small screen and I don't think i've seen a single VAR replay for offside yet in this version of the game, just see the pass and then assume there's some lines being shown?

they dont do var replays anymore. if the stadium has a screen you will see a var decision but thats it. you can set the replay settings to show offsides but that gets annoying fast

Yeah sorry I meant offside replays. Just never actually see what happens because the camera doesn’t pan out enough

I imagine they are players there were already on loan at the clubs when you started the save?

 

I had a look at the database in the editor and I think I found a way to do it but then when trying to verify the files it pops up saying some other things need fixing, unfortunately I am not good enough on the editor to fix go in and fix those errors 

 

As you are Coalville I think you only have to put up with until you get promoted!

I think having Billy Kee is pretty much cheating at that level! Just need a decent enough defence and should walk the league

Just won my third successive promotion with Solihull Moors, into the Championship. Pretty sure I’ve accidentally tapped a cheat code in somewhere 😂
