Always had short hair but the front is fading. Back and sides still relatively healthy though, which is classic but well annoying.

Gone from a 3 to a 2 to a 1 on the clippers in very short amount of time, and have it a number 1 every month or so. Will probs go to just having the clippers as they are soon. The front can look a little wispy in the days leading up to it. Especially as I now have a worrying number of white hairs starting to sprout across my head!

Wouldn't ever think of a transplant, but if you do think about it make sure you do it to make you happy, not other people, or for other people's perceptions of you.

I think I've said before on similar thread but I used keratin fibres for a long time, which definitely bought me a couple of extra years of 'normal' hair.

I then had my first FUE hair transplant 4 years ago and second transplant last year. Everybody's experiences are different but it has worked well for me...

Johnny wig shown in the colour Medium to Light Brown with 35% grey

The only thing that could make it less believable is a chin strap.

Obviously there are going to be a few dodgy ones but, look at this, the guy even has a hairline!

Started shaving mine completely bald this year with a razor (not even 30 yet). Best decision I’ve made, bald and sexy

Decided to shave my head completely when I was 30.

No regrets at all.

A lot of blokes though think it somehow makes them less of a man which is absolute bollox.

Couldn't think of anything more embarrassing and soul crushing then coming home to take you wig off before you go bed.

I can. Taking your mrs' wig off before you go to bed, because you've mislaid yours.

I am 33 and been receding for about 7-8 years. Got right thick curly hair but the front is starting to look like a Steve mclaren island. Not a good look. It’ll go sooner rather than later.

these shampoos and products are all bullocks. You’re gonna have to nip to turkey if you want a full on Noddy Holder head of hair

Yeah, live with my girlfriend and we've been together nearly 5 years so that isn't the issue! It's pretty irrational when you boil it down but I suppose it's just a confidence thing.

Agree shampoos seem to have little to no effect from what I've read. This supplement I've bought apparently blocks DHT at source, and it's the hormone responsible for reducing follicle size.

I've read enough positive impartial reviews to at least give it a go.

If in 4/5 months I've still got a sunroof I'll have to decide whether I want to fork out for a trip to Turkey (bit of cheeky golf while I'm there), or get the razor out.

How did this go in the end Nod?

Just asking for a friend…..

I could commit murder on a high street in daytime and my generic head and glasses means I’d never be caught.

Clearly I won’t because I’ve written this and I’m not stupid. If something like that happens then don’t come talking to me, coppers - I’ll have been doing something other than murder.

Had mine done nearly 7 weeks if there’s anything you need to know.

I’m not gay but I much prefer guys who go bald with a sense of pride rather than those who get transplants

Mad that you could have used countless famous bald men as the reference, but you went for the woman with cancer. Weird post

Couldn’t remember the crystal maze blokes name

I had two hair transplants and can’t be more pleased with the results.

After years of trying to make something out of nothing every day I took the plunge.

Had the front done two years ago, then the crown last year.

What do I think about it?

Id say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made as I’m absolutely amazed at the results.

Looks natural, actually enjoyed the procedure and seeing the results come.

Its all about understanding what can be done, having confidence in your doctor and realising it will take a bit of time.

I wouldn’t go to Turkey, I looked at the best options in the UK and I honestly can’t be happier.

It’s really worth doing, but like I say you need a good doctor who will be open with what can and cannot be achieved.

Nobody would think I’ve had it done because of the natural look, but I’m that proud I tell everyone.
