I was wondering where this was going when I started to read it, was it a field surrounded by trees or no trees or just plain arable one that you wished had more trees on it.

Well his username is westernpark, so...

Disgraceful that club rivalry was allowed to seep into the squad. Anyone displaying that should have been kicked out no matter how good a player. Was it just the players or were the club managers feeding the poison beforehand

Definitely club managers. I recently saw Gary Neville tell a story where Alex Ferguson had told him to basically try and talk Steven Gerrard to sign for Man Utd. World Cup 2006 I think it was.

Well Alex Ferguson certainly wouldn't give a monkeys about England squad morale

Bought 6 x 100l bags of bark chippings from Wickes for a little landscaping project. Pulled the trolley over to the car, and started unloading them into the boot.

Having loaded 4 of the 6 bags, an old woman walks over to me (must be in her late 70's/early 80's) and she says:

"Do you need some help my love? I can see you're struggling. I'm not very strong myself but you look like you could do with another pair of hands"

So between me and the old dear, we load the remaining bags into my car.

I mean bless her but fvck me, if there was ever a sign I need to hit the gym hard, this was it.

Last time I was there I had a brooding feeling that something wasn't quite normal, then I twigged - everyone was white.

To be honest, and my parents have a caravan further up the Lincs coast, the whole of Lincs looks like someone has been going round with the whitewash.
