I never really knew til a mate pointed it out to me recently, but I don't have a very broad repertoire of cooking.

Basically I only have 7 dishes I ever cook. Spag Bol. Chilli. Very basic Chicken and lentil curry. Sunday roast. Sausage, egg, beans and oven chips.  Kiev and oven chips. Pie and oven chips.

I like them tho. That's why I have them

edit. I buy an oven ready pizza too. So 8.

You don't do anything with eggs like ommellettes, scrambled egg, fry-ups? Or jacket potatoes?

You can vary the curries you make too with different meat or different spices. Plenty of good youtube videos out there.

Or you could even go down the Gousto Box route which sends you all the ingredients to cook different dishes. I know people who've tried them and really expanded what they eat.

Tbf, I do do eggs. But it's just a variation on a theme of the sausage & egg I listed. Ham omelette. Poached eggs and ham (or smoked salmon) ....but essentially I'd grouped that all under one sausage and egg type dinner. Same as spag bol. I do meatballs or lasagna occasionally but essentially the same thing.

Edit gousto. I really CBA. First the concentration and effort of making something new and second,.say if I don't like it?  Evening spoiled!

I said playing golf in it nearly killed me.

18 degrees is t-shirt weather! It's been grey, drizzly but warm where I am (Burton).

Fair enough. Looking around, a lot of people in this country agree with you. I can't wear just a t-shirt in under 20 degrees. Even mid to high 20s with a breeze I usually keep some kind of light jacket on. I wonder how much of it is to do with upbringing and/or genes because my family are the same. While my brother in law (Glaswegian) walks around in a polo shirt with all the windows open as soon as it gets above 15.

Big thing is that weather temperature is taken in the shade, so a golf course indeed is probably going to be a few degrees warmer than, say, walking around town.

Just wondering if you bought a fly zapper in the end?

Yes. It's about to be sent back for being rubbish! The one you sent the link for was a bit too big for where we need it to go so, we bought a smaller one. The flies just flew past it unharmed....

After 3 years of working for the Council in the Adult Education centre my Mrs is handing in her resignation today.

She's the most chilled out person i know(Obviously needs to be married to me!) but the bureaucracy and lack of leadership has taken its toll.

No wonder most Councils are fecked.

Well no. I should not have to wear 3 layers half of July.

True, and a big portion of North America really shouldn't be on fire, it shouldn't be 40+ in the med consistently and a decent chunk of Asia shouldn't be under floodwater.

But here we are, I guess.

It all kicked off on my road at 5:30 this morning. Evidently some woman had been caught cheating and her partner was keen on letting the whole road know.
