Lots of people on here defended the deal, “you don’t know what he’ll be on”

like it justifies the deal that we’d break a habit of a lifetime to screw a player down cheaply

Standard Luke Thomas Checklist for the goal:

Starting position poor - check

Loses a 1 v 1 duel - check 

Goal conceded from left side of the pitch - check.

 

He is awful. How can Marti not see that? It's bizarre.

We are where we are, we as a fanbase need to understand that.

Thomas is an asset to the club we are now.

He isn’t a world beater, he’ll never play for a top club, but he’s a very capable player who has been on a journey with us. I would love nothing more than for him to continue to improve as our style and identity starts to develop and stabilise under marti, and become our starting left back for the foreseeable future, because let’s be honest, if you think we are challenging for Europe any time soon you need a taxi to the bradgate unit.
