Game changer when VK came off.  I'm not saying Thomas the game changer but VK was horrendous.

 

Thomas poor for their second.  He was unlucky not to score at the death, but at least he was there.  VK would have been nowhere near it.

 

Throw ins are a plus and his set piece delivery is generally good.

just head the ball back where it’s come from - no need to head it down into the short side. it’s not unlucky imo.  No challenge, unmarked

Agree he was better than VK who couldn’t progress the ball forward and for some reason Mav refused to pass to him (more than he refused to pass to other players). 
 

LT is ok going forward but but unfortunately he is woeful at defending. Kind of his #1 job. 
 

Rowatt needs to sort this defence out this week, especially stopping the cross and marking up as well. LT crap at both

It's not unlucky. Lip read him after the chance "Got to fVckin score". He knows it himself. Closes his eyes, doesn't head it right.

 

If you're any sort of player you pile into that and take everything into the net, you, the ball, other players. He just glances it instead.

He has taken a long throw from the right side, we hit the bar from that and it move out to our left. Cross came back in and he found himself there and obviously hit the post. We should have scored from that passage of play.

Even in the prem Mav would never pass to VK. I think he did one forward pass today and just blasted it instead of playing it to the area VK was running to.

Thanks,  I was puzzled as to how he was on the right side. Yes definitely should have scored.

 

Maybe that's where we should play him, up top. He can't concede so many there.

Don’t disagree with your last line!

 

But that last play in stoppage time, it definitely did create the chance. It was actually the best one I have seen. And it led to us hitting the bar and subsequently the post from Thomas himself. You couldn’t get much closer.

I do not rate Luke Thomas but we have to be fair. His final throw in was excelent, made me think Stoke must have a narrow pitch however, great throw and yes we did create something, we hit the bar. When cross came back in from the left Thomas had got into the box, yes he hit the post, should he have scored maybe, but he got in there which is credit to him. The missed chance hurt him and for once I saw some proper emotion, the missed chance hurt him. May I also add that it was NOT his player that scored the equaliser, where was our wing back?

So fellow supporters please dont blame him for their equaliser or the missed chance, please be fair.

As said I dont rate him but also wont make him a scapegost for the draw.
