The m&s sweets with sherbet inside. Before the world ended they were always lying around at work to share. I'd always eat 6 before going home and have some kind of sugar induced flopsweat breakdown on the train.

Can someone clarify this please?

Worthers originals are portrayed as being a sweet loved by the older folk but I honestly do not remember seeing them until maybe 20-25 years ago.

Are they an old established sweet going back many years or is the advertising nostalgic guff?

They were back in my day when I only had sixpence to spend and all my mates were chewing them. They were sold in my local sweetshop therefore they were sweets
