Oh yes. My late mum used to make the best, creamiest, flavoursome bread sauce. I've tried but I can never match her bread sauce. still love it though. Shop bought bread sauce is never the same.

What do people do for Christmas breakfast? We are having muffins with either smoked salmon and cream cheese or pate.

I'll do some Bucks Fizz for the Mrs. For me, the left over cider from the turkey, some red wine and a couple of beers.

Then I'll have a nap for about an hour at 11 and start prepping the veg when I wake up lol

I always have a pork pie. When I was an apprentice my trainer/foreman kept telling us it was a Leicester tradition.Surely a wind up but I’ve been doing it for 25 years now regardless.

I think it is a bit of a tradition round these parts. I give my dog a mini pork pie every Christmas morning, wrapped like a present. She is a dribbling wreck while she unwraps it lol

The problem with Yorkies and Xmas dinner is that they're pretty big bastards and there's just not enough room on the plate for them with everything else.

Something has to give...

I find a separate side plate for the yorkshire puddings works well...

I find that kinda moves the problem from not enough room for yorkies on the main plate, to not enough room on the main table for extra plates.

With drinks, crackers, cutlery, dishes full of food, extra condiments/sauces, more guests etc, the fvckin table's not big enough.

Maybe I just need an bigger table, or even a separate dining room.

Really I need a bigger house, and it's all Yorkshire puddings fault.

More importantly, which cheeses & chutneys are we going with on our cheese boards?

Got some black bomber cheddar yesterday from the butchers which I’ve heard is good. Then have Wensleydale with cranberries, some Brie and prob Stilton. Made some scotch bonnet chilli jam to go with it.

Make the missus eat hers in the garden and buy bigger plates.

Adapt, improvise, overcome.
