Fans raised about 70k last month to help get her treatment for anorexia organised by friends. They shared a picture of her in order to raise awareness and she was so unwell. Such a cruel illness.

I saw a picture of her the other week and it was absolutely harrowing. Hard to comprehend how someone can get in to such a poor physical state, surely she should have been in hospital? Tragic.

Just seen these. Nothing to her :(

I'll admit to being a massive Big Brother fan back in the day and it only feels like yesterday I remember her first time in it.

Just 38 years young, it's genuinely starting to hit me harder the older i get.

Was really painful to see. :(

At least she was very open about her devastating condition.

RIP.

Her mum told one of the papers that the gym had been part of her eating regime to keep on top of it. Lockdown disrupted her routine and she just couldn’t cope it seems.

Tragedy to be honest.

Baroness Shirley Williams, aged 90.

BBC News - Baroness Shirley Williams: Former cabinet minister dies aged 90 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-56720985

One of the more worthwhile politicians - and one of the minority who could express political opinions without resorting to dogma, jargon and platitudes.

I can remember her on the TV screen as a Labour cabinet minister when I was a schoolboy in the 70s - and as a Lib Dem spokesperson on Question Time not long ago.

Can't be many who've been knocking around for so long......Ken Clarke but he was an unknown backbencher in the 70s, Hattersley but he seems to have disappeared, that pompous prat David Owen still pops up occasionally....
