If that many fans think Youri come the end of the season, poor JJ is going to get robbed.

 

James Justin on the basis of performances and consistency, is Player of the Season so far by a country mile.

Chelsea at home (may be recency bias, but was one hell of a complete performance, Ndidi, Fofana, JJ, Tielemans, Maddison all in full flow)

We have had so many players that have improved beyond recognition but Justin would get my vote for his consistency with Barnes a close second.

 

Maddison is still so often the spark and I would not sell him at any price

 

Really good to see Ricardo showing a return to his old self - long may this continue. We have some amazing full backs at the club with Castagne as well not to forget Thomas

 

So many others could be mentioned - we have a real team ethic and the manager deserves credit for this as we see when players come firing on all cylinders  after being on the fringes.

 

Great times to be following the club such a shame we cannot be there in person

As ever though - Leicester fans massively overrate the consistency of defensive players over the consistency offensive or creative ones when defensive players are always way more consistent.

 

That's why defensive players always seem to win our POTY award.

 

It's much easier to be a consistent full-back than a consistent creative midfielder.

 

JJ has been great, but Tielemans has won us more points this season with his performances, no doubt in my mind on that.

Just re watched the game whilst ‘working from home’ and it’s a sublime move. One thing I have noticed is that Barnes was only a few yards wider of JJ but was nowhere near the ball at the end of the move. Looks nakered lol

JJ is relatively inexperienced and he’s been asked to play every position across the backline this season. While I agree that Youri deserves to be in contention for the award (also has played much of the season without Wilf), I think the cover and consistency that JJ has offered puts him over the edge.
