At the other end of the spectrum, the BBC just had a poll for who fans think will win and like 41% said England as the overwhelming majority favourite with France a distant second with like 16% of the poll.

England and Brazil were the faves on the telegraph one. Don't want to make predictions again just yet, see how things shape up  ... one side of me thinks we did the same deal with the devil France did in losing our 'home' Euros final to then go and win in the next Tournament; the other(more sane) part of me thinks same old England.

 

Abit crap the draw is done and we still don't know for sure who we're up against with WAL/SCO/UKR undetermined.

 

Some nations can definitely be pleased in how the draw turned out. Now you've just got to hope Qatar is capable on delivering on its promise.

Queue the "It's coming home" crap. 

 

For selfish reasons my dream final matchup is England vs Canada. Either way I would be outside with a white and red flag....The question is would i accesorize with a mountie hat or bearskin hat. Both Canadian technically.

 

Yea, Canada ain't going anywhere lol. Hope we score a bloody goal though!

I dont know, I think Canada have a chance in their group and that group could be more open than we think.

 

Belgium - Oddly they've probably underachieved in tournaments for their talent.

 

Croatia are a solid team but they have a tendency to be bang average at times.

 

Morocco are a bit of an unknown bit I think they're an underrated team too.

I notice it’s 4 games a day in the group stages then knock out rounds kicking off at 6 and 10 local time ( 3 hours ahead )

Group stage times vary..... some will be at 6pm and 10pm .....but their is also 7pm and 1 pm.......  all the knockouts are either 6pm or 10pm

I got an Argentina vs France final. 

 

I got a Germany France final which I'm not really sure about. Germany aren't as predictable as they used to, they're weirdly almost the new France - either brilliant or abysmal. 

 

Either way I think a France England quarter final is a near certainty.

I would hazard a guess that it would be at least similar figures if not even more biased if conducted in Brazil or France to be honest.  I don't think we will win it but its hard to argue England are definitely amongst the favourites.  

 

We should get out of the group but I think it will be tougher then some other 'traditionally' harder looking groups.

 

Think we'll be knocked out to France. Wales to get through and finish 2nd going out to the Dutch

Ha yeah, I mean I'm going to have to go into the office a lot more as I'll never get any work done during the world cup.

 

Might wfh for that one though! Guess a lot of places might put it on in a boardroom on something during a 2hr lunch and tell people to work an hour earlier or later if they want to watch it.

USA will be the test there lol like 1950 again, we think we are good 😊 but hopefully we have learned and keep grounded, we have a long way to go still.
