Absolutely spineless that he wasn’t sacked two minutes after The Sun article came out. Shouldn’t get the dignity of resigning

I haven’t celebrated this hard since Leicester won the league.

Makes Johnson look pretty silly as well. Said he accepted the apology and the matter is closed. Then a resignation barely 24 hours later.

I think there’s a lot more to come with this story, there’s not enough pressure for him to quit for a bit of slap and tickle, especially seeing as Boris the ballon has accepted an apology

Very likely there's more footage or stuff being threatened to be released unless he did resign. Like you say, can't imagine this is the only instance. I wonder how long it's been going on for...

But Diane Abbot once drank a mojito on a train, she is clearly dangerous and must never be allowed near government.

I hear the 'but Labour wouldn't have done any better' a bit less than I did, which always seemed a bit strange and now even more so, given that it's so long since they've been in power a Labour government is pretty much a hypothetical concept rather than something that anybody has any clue what it would be like.

We're so worried about being forced to eat an imaginary turd that we haven't noticed that we're merrily chomping down on an actual one

In other online groups and forums I'm on that discuss politics, I've noticed the "Labour wouldn't do any better" has just changed to people responding to any criticism of the Tories with a laugh as if you've said something completely ridiculous. They don't respond and defend them. I notice one has done it to my post above. He won't actually reply to my post, because he knows full well he can't say any of its wrong, so just laughs and pretends everything's all right.

Heads in the sand as Nigel Pearson would say.

Yep, that's it. This government have reacted late to a pandemic causing thousands of deaths, have wasted billions of pounds of public money on a useless track and trace, funnelled billions to their mates, failed to close borders allowing variants to enter and spread in this country. Have took the piss out of you by doing things like driving the whole length of the country for a family day out or shagging their aide all whilst millions have given up their lives, haven't seen family, haven't said goodbye to loved ones, have had to cancel weddings, and holidays.

And your reaction is "But Labour"

???, the point being Boris can’t appoint Diane abbot to his cabinet!

Fookin ell, that wasn’t planned. Seems a bit of a setup somewhere. Look on the bright side, Diane abbot is Labour.

What has Diane Abbot got to do with this? Weird thing to say.

Don't give a **** about Dianne Abbott, she's not in the government, so why has she even been mentioned.

Hence my point being, no matter how much shit this government pull, some people are still making it about Labour.

Fascinated to know who's behind the setup of hancock. They've certainly landed a blow.

What does Diane Abbott have anything to do with this any more? Absolutely bugger all.

Isn't she Corbyn's "friend"?
