He likes to get silver medalists and polish them into turd.

He likes to get silver medalists and polish them into turd. Exactly, the squad he inherited needed fine tuning, the only real stand out position needed was a right sided forward/winger. The depth needed by getting into Europe needed to be a key player or two to replace first 11 members or young punts to involve gradually. Instead he has gone down the overpaid, wrong age and not capable of breaking into the 11 with no prospect of doing so option. From inheriting a side needing fine tuning/tweaking, it is now massively unbalanced, needing a huge rebuild and devoid of any confidence/mental strength. How can anyone defend him? 2
