it said on the BBC today that a severance was agreed with Tuchel he was paid 13m and his backroom staff 2m. This is one reason why we don't want to sack Dodgers and pay out 10m+ for him and his staff.

...it either then becomes a matter of principle or a matter of finance!!!

As a matter of Finance- The belief is that we lack the finance to meet his severance and are not prepared to allocate funds to this situation ahead of other more pressing financial concerns.

As a matter of Principle- this situation could last forever, a reluctance to pay the severance packaging due to a dislike or any personal animosity to Rodgers has no part in a business, it only allows negativity and bad feelings to run unchecked.

Pay the money, use Stowell as an interim manager and continue the search for another manager, it will not be any different from what we are experiencing right now. It will be a collective relief.

A toxic atmosphere in the ground can only hasten Rodgers' departure, his excuses are meaningless.  The board understand that a toxic atmosphere is a leading indicator of them losing revenue.

I'm all for turning on him/them after the game if it has gone badly. The issue is, if it's going badly our fans will leave early rather than stay and loudly make their feelings known.

I mean in the ground. If we urn the place toxic during the game, Rodgers will use that as an excuse. Whereas if the atmosphere is decent and we lose, he doesn't have the 'toxic atmosphere is making it harder for the players' excuse.

....chants of "sacked in the morning" and "you don't know what you're doing" will clearly tell him who the ire is for!!!

Just got back from my meeting. Anyone got good news for me?

In the event that a person in their nineties dies there would be no reason to cancel games

The “Hierarchy have been very supportive” comment is frightening. The board is lost and I have little faith in it.

Precisely what l have been saying, he's under little pressure from the only man who matters!

Think people need to calm down a little...  I feel as if FFP has tied the hands a little and we should have some faith in the board and Top - they've not let us down yet.

If we can get through this season, I firmly believe we will make the investments required next year.

We’re the footballing equivalent of a warm pint or a weak handshake. Get on with it.

Pathetic Pussies in other words 🤣

Bet Brendan said to Top, look, even Klopp is struggling. Sometimes we greats have a rough patch. 🤮

Seems most people know he needs to go - except those who need to make him go.

Heard on talkSPORT earlier that Brighton have already got their man lined up to replace Potter… Hmmmm my guess is definitely NOT Brendan 😂

Mazzu I think.

They could also go for Frank.

Think Jason Bourne deserves a bit of credit today, stuck it to him…

Its all over Twitter but in summary, he asked Rodgers what he actually takes responsibility for, after you’ve blamed the fans, the board, the players 😂

Rodgers was getting/looking mardy especially when he then moved onto why Soyuncu isn’t playing.

Is there a clip?

EXCLUSIVE! - Leicester City have blocked Caglar Soyuncu from joining a Turkish club ahead of Thursday's transfer cut-off. - Besiktas and Galatasaray were interested. - https://footballinsider247.com/live-transfers-080922/ #LCFC

Thank goodness for that. He is a player that any other coach will bring the best out of. Regressed enormously under Rodgers along with many others but Ndidi is the other gem that should be called out.

He's a joke and cannot manage this team to the best of its potential anymore.
