Not just because it was baffling (to me) but what message does it send to the bench? He recognises players are tiring but he still elects not to freshen (and I use that word deliberately) the side. He has a Belgian international on the bench ffs and he leaves him there! Smack in the face or what? He simply does not trust the players he has. That must crush the spirit. Just expect better for an elite manager that is highly regarded for his technical nous. ahh I’m over it gonna watch the city/hammers gane, nothing we can do about that result now. Gotta move on. 4
