Various things at play but have been saying for a while I can't see where the money has gone.

 

- paid off the last money for some big transfers.

I'm sure top is putting some in too and I'm quite suprised by it if I'm honest but it doesn't look like we need to sell other than shift on a few that aren't playing

On the back of this if you can keep the squad happy then surely the squad size is what has left us slightly short in the last two seasons. 

 

Hardest part is obviously keeping everyone happy.

Which makes a lot of sense and probably add to weight to why he's a target.

If we sign Madueke this is hands down the best window the club has ever had. It makes sense, it ticks all our boxes, it's a position we're screaming out to improve. It's about as safe a signing as you'll ever have

Exactly, even if he doesn't hit for us immediately, he's very young so will likely develop, and failing that, his age and nationality mean we would still be able to pull 20+ mil back for him if it really didn't work. Genuinely the perfect signing

Quite literally nothing like Gray. Gray had one sort of decent season in The Championship, Madueke has had one much stronger season I the Eredivisie, and wasn't too bad in the Europa League.
