Hopefully Arsenal stop getting associated with being anywhere near a top 4 club now. Just shows what a job Wenger did yet most fans wanted him out. Idiots.

Chelsea do have the nasty side to their game if needed too. I'd fancy they will be better at grinding out horrible 1-0s than Man City. Looking forward to their game against Liverpool next week.

Chelsea players targeting Holding with some pettiness, looking for him to retaliate. Wonder if he'll react.

Lukaku for Chelsea again is an excellent match unfortunately. Chelsea strong contenders this season and the title race looks to be an exciting one.

Think their use of an approx. £100m signing by both Man City and Chelsea could be the difference this season. Chelsea addressed their weakness and Man City did not. This side looks very well balanced now.

Absolutely, and got De Bruyne to come back even if they don't make another signing. Reckon they're a couple of weeks behind in pre-season prep. Would be nice to have a proper title race. Even if it's between 2 oil clubs.

Getting Tuchel was a massive game changer for Chelsea. If Lampard had stayed there they wouldn't even have made the top 4, his appointment was done with heart not head. They could put a completely different 11 out to today's side & still beat most of the teams in the Premier, their squad is awesome & made moreso with the signing of Lukaku

Agreed. A quarter of a billion was spent with Lampard in charge before last season.

The problem was the coach, not the team.

Agree with this.  Lukaku addresses Chelsea's main shortcoming last year, Grealish doesn't really give Man City something they were lacking, but Man City started from a stronger position anyway and it's not like the signing's weakened them.  Still, definitely ground gained by Chelsea there imo.

Haha it's the Indian wedding next week so that's when she'll start living here. But even so, I'm allowed a bit of footy time at the weekends ;)

Is that some new directive about dangerous collisions? Not saying that I wanted to see what happened to James but 'usually' the broadcasters show it on replays.

Glad to see he's back on the pitch though.
