Also, what incentive do the current players for making a real effort, when they know that most of them will not be required after 31st December

splinterdream Posted 27 November 2021 Posted 27 November 2021 all this Newcastle spending big malarky, don't they have to abide by FFP, and where would they be in those terms? does that affect the wages they can offer?

Ashley's prior penny pinching means they can spend over £150m in the next window under FFP rules. No idea if they fail EFL FFP rules should they go down though. 1

Even 150 mil may not be enough (hopefully ) with it being January and every one going on bout how rich they are no one will be cheap for them prob end up with maguire for 120 mil 😂

Watford just have a bit too much quality going forward imo, and they'll be defensively a bit better than leeds that's for sure.... Should be an interesting fight.
David Hankey Posted 27 November 2021 Posted 27 November 2021 'Vanilla' higher than LCFC at the moment, things must be bad.
mozartfox Posted 27 November 2021 Posted 27 November 2021 If Brighton lose later, then at least all the Potter euphoria will die down.
adejo92 Posted 27 November 2021 Posted 27 November 2021 Liverpool are just different gravy. Southampton like lambs to slaughter. 1
