Hamilton Fox Posted 16 January 2022 Posted 16 January 2022 Now they will have a new manager in place and probably in better form when we end up playing them

Vacamion Posted 16 January 2022 Posted 16 January 2022 Go on Everton. Comedy appointment please. Ole or Jose or Big Sam.

kingfox Posted 16 January 2022 Posted 16 January 2022 Why they sacking the guy who finally turned Demarai Gray into a World Class player, Rafa is a genius, shocking decision.
Super_horns Posted 16 January 2022 Posted 16 January 2022 (edited) Rooney is the favourite..? Too early for him surely ! Be a sentimental move I guess but whilst Rooney had done well in very trying circumstances be a lot of pressure on him. Edited 16 January 2022 by Super_horns

I can’t see Rooney “deserting” Derby when he could be on the verge of pulling off the greatest escape of them all Edited 16 January 2022 by The Year Of The Fox
FoxyLeon Posted 16 January 2022 Posted 16 January 2022 Benitez was never going to work. I'm convinced he was hired to be a scapegoat for the owners, who have clearly back peddled on their investment this season. From going and spending near to £50 million on Richarlison, to then signings Townsend/Gray/Rondon on frees/minimal fees, shows the attitudes of the owners have changed. Players have also been given a completely free licence to down tools, without any blame, purely because Benitez is the manager that no Everton fan wanted. It's very odd to allow Benitez to make such a big decision in being allowed to get rid of one of their best players in Digne, but then dismiss Benitez just says later. Even Man United, a club in turmoil, never allowed Mourinho to actually get rid of Pogba/Shaw etc.
StanSP Posted 16 January 2022 Posted 16 January 2022 Rooney going there is beneficial to him, not Everton.
Corky Posted 16 January 2022 Posted 16 January 2022 Rodgers is never going there. He got very touchy with a few mild boos from our fans earlier this season- how will he cope with the Redshite, Kopite rat jibes from an almost permanently angry stadium when they aren't winning? 1
Corky Posted 16 January 2022 Posted 16 January 2022 West Ham's defending has resembled ours for most of this season today.
