Spurs are just bellends. I don’t think there’s any serious dislike on their side minus some bitterness from 15/16. Certainly wouldn’t give them the mantle of rivals.

Chelsea is fairly small scale but as others have said the history is there. I wouldn’t call it a rivalry as much an historical dislike.

This will be controversial but Forest and Derby I’ve grown tired of. They’ve told us for going on 20 years now they don’t care. I find it a little embarrassing to try and chase a rivalry with two teams transfixed over a tinpot they compete over every year whilst trying to stay afloat in the second tier. I don’t care for them to come up or look forward their games. Like to see them fail though.

Coventry at least see us as rivals and are the only club to do so. I found their entire downfall to League Two hilarious, but I’m glad they’ve managed I stabilise as a club. The only team we’d play which would have a derby atmosphere as a good portion of fans on both sides recognise the rivalry. A lot of people may not like it but they have to be our main rivals on the back of that. No other club takes us seriously enough I’m afraid.

Anyone under 40 arsed about Spurs?

Nope. We are marginally a better side across a whole season these days, if we had better squad depth that gap would be more comfortable.

Personally I’d like to see the likes of Forest/derby/cov back in the PL, we don’t have enough of those games.

Teams that irritate me most: Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea. Mainly because of underhand tactics they frequently use, and in some cases the state of their fan base. An arrogance not backed up by performances also at Arsenal, though I guess some associated with Spurs are also guilty of this.

I think there’s a needle against Forest too but not Derby

Probably helped our games vs Forest are usually competitive. It feels like every time we play Derby it’s at a three goal cushion lol

Having lived in both cities theirs definitely a rivalry with Forest but not so much with Derby.

Leicester and Nottingham are both similar cities really much more in common than Leicester and Coventry.

Wembley Way 99. Kicked off quite badly they were hitting women.

Arrogant entitled cocks when we won the league too... probably that 🤷‍♂️

Time and age has an effect as well I think. The rivalry with Derby was pretty passionate in the 90s, and with Cov up to the late 2000s when we were both in danger of going down to the 3rd tier. Now the idea of either being a rival is quite amusing.

I'd quite like a West / East Midlands Premier League rivalry to take shape.

West midlands already have their own rivals.

West Midlands do have their own rivals, especially Second City derby and Black Country Derby, but there's something different when playing a West Mids team imo. I love any game against any of them sides.

If you have a rivalry as strong as what Villa have with Blue and Wolves with WBA then you don't go searching.

Yeah agree them or Cov somehow doing it would mix up the season a bit.

Birmingham/Villa is one of best rivalries in the Country. Definitely in the top 5. As a neutral I wish they were in the same division more often.

FOREST - 50

CHELSEA- 30

MAN. CITY - 20

I like Liverpool, Leeds, and West Ham. All over the course of sixty years, and remembering some great games, and players who are now legends.

It's great to remember them, but, err, not to be old enough. lol

Yeah, agreed Cardiff/Swansea, though I'd have Bristol Rovers/Bristol City over the Steel City derby. I think Arsenal/Spurs is the best current top flight derby, that'd be the next one down for me.

Agree with the others. Chester/Wrexham is massive, so many big derbies in the lower leagues.

Why Man City?

Their fans weird obsession with Ranieri’s sacking is annoying but they don’t piss me off more than most other clubs

I know we’re sidetracking big time but Chester/Wrexham doesn’t get much credit as it deserves as they’ve been languishing below both club’s potential level. But for a fair few years now I’ve had the pleasure knowing a few lads from Wrexham/North Wales from my mate’s time at Bangor Uni and the intensity is incredible. Saw a couple clips from a game a few seasons ago when Chester fans interrupted a pre-match vigil for a Wrexham lad that had died and it honestly looked like Wrexham were going to jump into the Chester end.

Outside West Ham/Millwall I genuinely think it may be the most intense rivalry in the English leagues. Two clubs in very close proximity but historically are polar opposites politically, economically and even in terms of nationality. They really share absolutely nothing in common lol

Last minute League cup final winner is really about it until their fans went off the rails with condescension during the title run in, in 2016. Unless you're old enough to have been around for the FA cup final defeat.

Personally, Spurs never used to bother me, preferred them to Liverpool and Man U as a kid, probably because they really won naff all in comparison.

It's easier to dislike clubs now anyway, everyone can see the sheer knobs attached to football clubs (all clubs), due to the rise in fan sites and the outpouring of guff often found on them. Arsenal TV is a perfect example of my point.

Putting aside how you prefer money to be laundered for a moment, I don't have an issue with Man City....yet. An extended dominance similar to the other two North West goons and that may change. They also haven't pulled in too many glory hunters yet, as their success is in it's infancy really. That helps me.

It is proper weird. Every time we play them, home or away, they sing it.
