Come on Cobblers!!!

Whilst nothing will ever come close to supporting Leicester, I do have a soft spot for teams where I've lived.

I'd be well up for a day out at Wembley too! Not like I'd be taking a ticket off someone who couldn't get one.

I feel the same. Been a few times to watch the Cobblers this season and although the football isn't always great....the club tailor the pre match stuff to encourage a vocal backing.

The games i have been to the fans really get behind the side aswell so it makes it all the more enjoyable.

Shame about the result last night but i think they're heading in the right direction.

The connection/engagement between players and fans is spot on aswell.

I agree, Eppiah literally beats him to the ball by a split second. It's not dangerous. Yellow is perfect.

Commentators love overblowing a challenge. Gary Neville basically begs for penalties and reds if there's the slightest bit of contact.

edited to say, on the 2nd angle it doesn't look like Eppiah gets a touch, but either way. He's missed the ball by a split second and hasn't gone in with studs up and put Eppiah in any danger.

p.s. I really hope that is Eppiah, I never checked.

How has nothing been said and done after what happened at Nottingham ?

it’s a disgrace and shows the lack of leadership in English football

it’s quite simple - if the home fans invade the pitch after a victory then the game will be replayed - that will stop the nonsense

Definitely needs to be a stronger deterrent.

I don’t know why the players don’t stand over nearer to the tunnel entrance during penalties so they can get off the pitch quicker.

The players shouldn’t need to escape in such scenario.

It's pretty simple, a pitch invasion means you forfeit the game.

That stops it, end of.

Need to be careful that you can be certain who exactly is invading the pitch but yes, forfeit or a replay as I said above …..

But the authorities should have said something on tuesday morning and then the clubs can back it up

nothing said so why should the idiots care ….

Not really, it would be pretty obvious. Unless thousands of away fans are able to infiltrate the home end in a massive game.

I don't have an issue with celebratory pitch invasions but it is going too far the other way. Problem is that it is happening mainly in highly charged games where the loser is hurting and that leads to trouble.

They shouldn’t but based on recent games they do need to escape the pitch.

Just a way reducing the risk of anything happening to the players, until they come up with a deterrent to stop the pitch invasions happening.

1. Buy season ticket for Forest

2. Run on pitch every match

3. Job done
