Well played Italy, despite massive play acting towards the end. Thought they were the better team throughout.

 

Belgium still carved out some massive opportunities, but did not take them.

 

The loss of Spinazzolla is huge. The left side with him and Insigne were unplayable at times.

Don't know how you can blame Martinez for that. Belgium's defense was always their weak point and Italy was a level above.

They lost against the future champions in a game that could've gone either way, but I agree, 2018 was their best shot.
