Anyone else think our media team is not as good as it could be? There’s a big lack of content, especially compared to other clubs, the videos are boring, no shooting/gk drills etc. They also don’t engage with the fans online very much either. I just feel like there’s a lot of unfulfilled potential there, especially with the fun players we have as you can see on their individual Instagram stories.

Agreed. The lack of content is strange. I’m not sure whether they are intentionally like this or if they’re out of touch with what people want to see.

Englands youtube channel is a good idea of what they could do, especially with the new training ground and all that it has to offer for different types of content. Even the announcements/interviews are boring.

Just do the business on the pitch and don't disgrace yourselves or the club off it and it's fine. So it's not really worth complaining about, unless they're selling a service where you see more in depth stuff, which isn't really necessary.

I think the LCFC TV is pretty good?

Or do you mean the social media stuff?

We’re in the digital age now, fun things on Twitter engaging with the fans isn’t harming anyone or how the clubs looks.

They were advertising a "digital executive" position at the end of May.

I thought they were better than what they used to be. That said, I don't actually watch the content. Same as the videos on the website. Last one I watched was Evans cooking and he looked the he didn't want to be there lol

Theyre perfect for me. The day we're more bothered about impressing kids on twitter than fans in the stand is another day a little bit of football dies.

Showing more videos of training and the new training ground isn’t disregarding match going fans though is it? It engages with all fans because it’s stuff we never get to see.

Some people won’t understand the actual impact of videos like that because all they do is read the BBC website, foxestalk and the merc website.

The club are massively behind most teams in the league for stuff like this.

What do you want to see? What ryan bertrand has for breakfast? I'm not that arsed.

I think it's fine.

And also agree with @Chocolate Teapot.

For what it's worth, I did love the album covers and film 'posters' they did on matchdays.

There's only so much they should/could do during pre-season.

I agree with the matchday posters, they were great and should continue. I followed Bristol City for some Big Nige and Kingy content and they release a lot of good stuff.

Something like this with Maddison or someone would be great.

There's a very good reason why the club wouldn't do a day in the life of madders....

A few years ago I went to Fleetwood away in the U23 Johnstone’s Paint game with about 12 other city fans (mostly parents as well I think). I nipped into a chippy an hour before kick off and the owner saw my club pin badge on my long businessman’s type jacket, and he asked if I was part of the media team doing a feature. It turns out he had tweeted about how Jamie Vardy had been in once or twice when he played for Fleetwood.

To this day I wish I had said yes, and perhaps got a free cod, chips and mushy peas. Because it certainly wasn’t worth what I paid for it!

To be fair their TikTok output isn’t too bad… but then I doubt I’m not the target audience!
