Popular Post Jakemoore Posted 12 August 2021 Popular Post Posted 12 August 2021 Wow. This is just amazing. Unfortunately for me it brings out a few emotions like everything LCFC related these days. I am overwhelmed with happiness and excitement that my club are growing in to a European super power and in the proper, ethical way too. But I wish my dad was here to see it all. He passed away last December and so missed the FA cup win, the opening of the training ground and now this. It is down to him that I support this wonderful club and I literally thank him every day because it would have been so easy to have followed Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool etc. Exciting times ahead once again 😍💙 35
SkegnessSteve Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 I understand the need to promote green transport and encourage people to walk or bike etc but for some of us that have to travel from Skegness after work for an evening game we barely make it on time so wouldn't be able to park and walk. I just don't think 525 car parking spaces is enough for 40k fans and don't forget 220 rooms they will all want a space and it says some of the multi storey will be for hotel. Remove the residential and put another multi storey car park in and it would be a lot better. 1
Crazy Kop Corner Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 I think it'll stop the majority of us anchoring after Filbert Street once and for all These guys have serious vision. Incredible. 1
Leicester_Loyal Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 These owners are actually ****ing unbelievable, we owe them so much. 2

STUHILL Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 I like it but I just don't get why the bubble has to be blue TBH. Red would have made more of a statement. Geeez the state of some of you nitpickers! Enjoyyyyyyy

Maybe in the future they might build additional car parking across the road and on the old Filbert St car park. "The hotel and business centre will be served by dedicated parking and the multi-storey car park."

But Filbert St will always be home to me, and it not being there any more will always make me a bit sad.

WinslowFox Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 Wow. This looks incredible. I still can’t quite believe this is all actually happening. I feel like I’ve been in a dream since my Daughter was born and we won the Prem in the same year. Thank you to our magnificent magical owners. Exciting times once again.
Popular Post VLC86 Posted 12 August 2021 Popular Post Posted 12 August 2021 The white font on the shirt has left such a bitter taste I’m not sure I’ll enjoy this. 1 22
Silver surfer 1 Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 So happy for the expansion, we deserve it. But feel like the stadium looks flimsy and recycling bag like, I might warm to it .
Fox92 Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 Looks superb. Hopefully the first row of second tier all have flags draped down. 1

Wrighty22 Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 Can't find any faults with the design, looks amazing, will massively improve he match day experience as well as boosting the local economy. I would like to see more details plans, such as the designs and colours of the new buildings. The EON building looks so out of place there. Do we assume we still haven't purchased this and that we'll add something there if we do buy it. I'd have thought the car park would have been better there and not having traffic going around the site. 1

BridgfordFox Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 I wonder what will happen to existing season ticket holders in the East Stand - I've got a great seat towards the back of J1 that I'd be really disappointed to lose! (Or be charged 3x the price for!)
kingfox Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 Felt slightly emotional watching that vid. We have come a long way since having to watch Ryan McGivern get torn apart by Ivan Sproule on a Tuesday night. What these owners have done in the past 10 years is nothing short of incredible, stadium expansion and a multi purpose events arena is exactly what Leicester needs. 2
