I love it!

The big screen on the side of the arena is such a small thing amongst all that, but it's something we've needed for a while for big games.

Notice the right hand side there has fans with flags.
Possible safe standing section or for away fans?

Edit to say can’t see it being away fans pointless switch.

From the FAQ:

The success of LCFC has resulted in the stadium being sold out for the majority of matches since 2014.  The expansion of the East Stand will increase the overall capacity of the stadium by a quarter, to 40,000 seats.

Significant market research has been carried out to support these proposals, considering the full spectrum of fans and the required mix of additional seating and hospitality capacity.

40,000 is deemed to be the appropriate stadium capacity for the foreseeable future, however there is still scope for further expansion elsewhere in the stadium, if required.

This development of the stadium is not only about increasing capacity, it will also improve matchday and non-matchday experiences for all our fans, visitors and site neighbours.

Fantastic!! That's all I wanted to hear.

I think the artist's impressions look great, but was just a bit concerned that we'd left ourselves with no room for further expansion. I think we'll still be filling the stadium when it's done.

I've got my fingers crossed for a Leicester ice hockey team to play in the arena.

Exciting times for the club! Aren't we spoilt rotten?

Have you considered safe standing?

We recognise that safe standing is an important topic for supporters and one which LCFC is considering having already undertaken a study of rail seating, which included engagement with fans. We will undertake further fan consultation on rail seating in due course, in addition to ourongoing discussions with the relevant bodies including the Safety Advisory Group (SAG) and the Sports Grounds Safety Authority(SGSA).

We intend to link the arena to the new East Stand and hotel via footbridge.

Looks very good but I do worry how pony the rest of the ground will look from the outside with that bolted on. I hope there's a way of modernising the exterior to the whole ground that makes it look contoured and not lipstick on a pig.

Looking at how the roof finishes it looks like it’s ready to continue with both ends as and when they feel it’s appropriate, being a site joiner it would be nice to get a start on this, be a busy mad place to work like the high cross extension but would be something to say in years to come. ‘See that door up there, I swung that!’ 😊

Knowing my luck I would end up fitting out the bog cubicles nowhere near the east stand in a far flung building.

We are currently considering the inclusion of a museum and interactive customer experiences within the fanstore.

The hotel and business centre will facilitate large residential conferences and, at an anticipated 15 storeys, will offer unrivalled views across the city and the new East Stand.

Ground floor food and drink outlets below the proposed hotel and business centre building will provide an attractive and active streetscape.

The hotel and business centre will be served by dedicated parking and the multi-storey car park.

So the Pavilion is not for fans

The offices will occupy a standalone location, with dedicated car parking.

The Pavilion will provide flexible office space for a variety of businesses and sectors, including start-ups, SMEs and the sports and entertainment industry.

The Eon building not included in the plans? Didn't Lcfc buy the building?!

I thought that too, perhaps they had these plans prior to the purchase?

The plans do look very light and vague on detail, hopefully they will change once the stand expansion is approved.

I can see the plans changing a lot during the approval process.

Incredible to see this on the 11 year anniversary of King Power taking over the club. Really excited for when it's done, I really like the idea of the fanzone; perhaps during European away days it can be used to broadcast the match to thousands of us that weren't able to make the trip? That would be an awesome use of it.

For me what is most impressive isn't the stadium but more the plans to regenerate Leicester as a city. That says everything you need to know about our owners, they don't look at the club as a way to make money, but how to improve things for everyone. Of course they'll do more than alright out of it themselves, but I'm more than happy for that to happen if along the way they create thousands of jobs, bring happiness to our fans and massively improve the city's infrastructure.

Best in the country, bar none.

Surely the residential Tower would be better of spun round . Im sure people that live there and likewise hotel guest wouldn't want to be looking out the window with a very close direct view of each other . 😬

That looks more like it I said in the other thread that it looked lacklustre from the pics in that thread . From the video and following pics released today it looks like it will be fantastic .

Not too keen on the bubblewrap look tbh...

Get the feeling it's one of those things that will look much better in the flesh. The Allianz looked really odd on mock ups.

Looks like they're covering the current steal beams, brickwork etc... from the pictures and video.

Looks like a new white look all around.

LCFC will never be in a position to prop up the King Power group.

I’m not suggesting that (although LCFC is not distinct from the King Power Group, it’s part of it) - just suggesting that the hotel, arena, residential, etc, might be a ‘King Power’ thing and not a football club thing.
