Popular Post Babylon Posted 12 August 2021 Popular Post Posted 12 August 2021 Thank you Milan Mandaric for sodding off and finding Kingpower…. Remember when he was going to sell the training ground and move us to Loughborough. Cant believe what they are doing for our club, it’s everything we’ve all dreamt of. 18 1
Gravel Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 Lump in throat and shiver down spine watching the video. Absolutely beautiful in design and sentiment.

Unfortunately for me it brings out a few emotions like everything LCFC related these days. I am overwhelmed with happiness and excitement that my club are growing in to a European super power and in the proper, ethical way too. But I wish my dad was here to see it all. He passed away last December and so missed the FA cup win, the opening of the training ground and now this. It is down to him that I support this wonderful club and I literally thank him every day because it would have been so easy to have followed Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool etc. Exciting times ahead once again 😍💙 What a lovely post. My dad died two years ago and made me a Leicester fan even though I live in Nottingham. Thank you dad for making me love this club, the right club 11

Guest worth_the_wait Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 Whilst doing all that work on the East stand, presumably they can swap the Family stand and the Kop at the same time?

I still haven't got over the Paul Mace masterplan of turning it into a super stadium and joint ownership with the Tigers. Jeez, that was a lucky escape. 2

Can't see them permanently being in the main stand. They would be in front of exec boxes. 1 hour ago, Stevosevic said: Sometimes forget how crap Filbert Street was It was crap. Stevosevic Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 Remember the ground share with Tigers plans...
cruzFOX Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 I'd love to see night time visuals of the stadium - I'm sure the architects have thought about this. If the bubbles glow royal blue at night that will be freakin awesome. What an amazing landmark the stadium is going to be in the city! 1
Vacamion Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 So you have Gary Lineker's voice over a video of Leicester and announcing a massive and gorgeous new stand and loads of other shiny futuristic buildings? 1
Webbo Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 If they're building a new club shop, what's happening to the old 1?
StanSP Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 Thinking about how small that stand at Filbert Street was and it pales in to comparison to the heights the new expansion will reach. I still can't quite believe where we're at now in terms of stature compared to where we are, and who knows where we could be. All I know is that under Top and his family and his continuing legacy, we're in great hands for investment and ambition to keep improving and enhancing our reputation. 1
Popular Post TrentFox Posted 12 August 2021 Popular Post Posted 12 August 2021 Realistically, today we have announced a new Adidas kit, (you don’t have to like it), signed a £15m defender that’s the size of Belgium and announced the most amazing ground enhancement programme. If anyone moans about ANYTHING today, you’ll become first person I’ve ‘blocked’ in my 10 years on here. Just take a look at the scoreboard!!!! Immense day. 5 8

I think the artist's impressions look great, but was just a bit concerned that we'd left ourselves with no room for further expansion. I think we'll still be filling the stadium when it's done. I've got my fingers crossed for a Leicester ice hockey team to play in the arena. Exciting times for the club! Aren't we spoilt rotten? This, I love Ice hockey and it would be great if they can finally replace Grandby Halls, especially if it would be an ice hockey arena that's open to the public. Kids today have F all! Used to love going when I was a kid. What's it been now?, 20years since it was pulled down? For a decent sized city, there's not a lot to do, especially for kids! 3
Stevosevic Posted 12 August 2021 Posted 12 August 2021 Top could realistically be chairman for another 30 years. Its exciting. 1

I'm sure i've read they'll be 2 shops considering the current one is accessible to the Family Stand at half time that could be the case. Also in the stuff they just released when writing about the new shop they mention the possibility of a Museum but I wasn't sure whether that was part of the new shop or just something they'll look at later. 1
