It’s taken him this long and numerous attempts to (finally) successfully hit the post button on Instagram.

He could barely hit the post on the pitch

Went by Daka's house in Bosworth over the weekend, he's got a skip in the front garden clearing out ready for a move.

Hope the 1st thing he chucked in was his football boots.

With the amount of times he was on the floor I'm not sure he ever have any.

Did he manage to scrape together better stats than Akimbiyi in the end?

When anyone talks about Akinbiyi, they mean the second season Akinbiyi that didn't score for about 30 games. In his first season he got 10 goals if I remember right. You'd be paying a fair amount for a forward who can do that in the Premier League now.

At the time he become a joke and his confidence was on the floor as he got labelled worst Premier League striker ever. There's been many worse than him since.

Plus Daka got two seasons in the second division. He managed about 12 goals in 60 apps. 60! And a good chunk of them were pens too!

Got to be the worst striker in the clubs history?

I remember when you used to use Akinbiyi as an insult. He's genuinely achieved worst stats that him. Unbelievable.

I am still convinced he'll come out as being one big prank. I'll never believe he is a legitimate professional footballer.

Seeing those stats makes you realise how bad Daka was, to think we paid £23 million for him too is actually crazy.

Bearing in mind 4 goals were  in one game ,makes even worse reading.

I'm not as in the camp of him being a write off. He just needed to move years ago. Some of that's on him because he chose wages over career progression but the club were never going to get a fee worthy enough of cutting their losses either.

I think he'll do well where he goes next. I know that's not a popular opinion. It couldn't have really been a worse signing for us than he turned out, given what he was brought in to do for European level.

Didn't help that he wore banana skins off Mario Kart instead of football boots from your Nikes, your Adidas, your Pumas

The bloke looked like he was on It's a Knockout or some shite

Nobody will be buying him for his goal scoring anyway.

You could see he was really trying the last few Months probably because he was looking for a new Club and he still couldn't Score.

Blimey. Seems to have made a career of when young being able to run fast and scoring against poor defenders pushed up in a high line, and then being earmarked as a hot prospect. When in fact it was all he could do and he'd already peaked.

Shows the importance of in depth scouting and not just looking at stats and highlight reels. Not a footballer to me and it doesn't take too much watching him to come to that conclusion. To say he won't be missed is an understatement.

Akinbiyi and Daka both played 2 seasons in the PL for us.

Daka 353 mins per goal

Akinbiyi 422 mins per goal

So Daka significantly better and if you include cup games, he'd have an even better record.

The stats I posted earlier was every game Daka has a far worse record for us than Akinbiyi did.
