Would you be happy being fifth for another year?

Yes, given the massive spending by the others. It'd be a hell of an achievement.

100 mill for Grealish, whose only scored once when the ball accidentally bounced off his thigh 😂😂

ikr!

Only one goal in all those games he’s played for them. Total waste of money lol.

That’s it lads, let’s settle for average 😂

I wouldn’t be disappointed with fifth, but not being disappointed and being happy are too different things.

The thing is, 5th isn’t really average is it ?

For Leicester in recent years I think it is. Not as a whole, I know there are teams that would give their left nut for 5th place.

The waterfront opens at 12 that's where I'm heading. 5 mins from the ground.

I still wouldn’t describe it as average. It’s at the top end of what we have achieved.

For me to an extent it depends how we would get there. If we have a late surge to get 5th I’d be delighted. If we dropped out of the top 4 towards the end after being there all season that would (and was) disappointing but by any measure given our resources 5th is still really a fabulous achievement IMO.

Oh there totally is, but it was quite amusing seeing that piss poor goal, although a goal is still a goal at the end of the day. I’d have taken one of those at West Ham 😂

You are absolutely right.  Based on the last two seasons of this club's long history, 5th is average.   If you go back another season or more, you argument falls apart.

Having supported City for nearly 5 decades, recent seasons have been amazing.  Fifth would be an achievement.  Again.  Any higher would be phenomenal.

I became a supporter in 1991. So completely agree.
